Texas Tech and SMU had 4 QBs from the same high school on the teams last night.

Lake Travis High School just outside Austin. I used to drive by that place on the way to work when I lived there. Its one of those Texas high schools that rivals colleges

Doesn't matter who the coach or players are, Kentucky will find a way to play like crap. Barnhart could have hired the offensive genius known as Bobby Petrino but didn't have the guts to hire him. Petrino will make UK pay for that decision. When does basketball begin??

we're running on 2 & 13 and have 16 yards total passing in the first half. So much for restoring the Hal Mumme Air Raid

good god

Kicker U opens the season strong

Heh! Crotch didn't even make it through the 1st half of game one under Stoops before he started begging for basketball to start. We shoot these types up here. We call them "Old Fuckers".

last year WKU needed a trick play to beat us. We're supposedly a better team this year.

This year we have zero turnovers in the game and WKU is manhandling our defensive line. We're down 35 to 17.

This is tough to watch.

Two years from now it won't be like this. Gotta take your lumps though.

I know my mind isn't as good as it once was, but seems as if I read something about UK firing Joker Phillips at the end of last seasons. Could of sworn he was on the sidelines coaching against Western yesterday..... and what's up with all this hype about an Air Raid offense?? Looked more like Bill Curry's run 3 and punt offense to me. Like I posted last season and the season before that and the one before that and the season before that......... UK football will ALWAYS be UK football.

A new coach and system takes time. You need at least two seasons to recruit in some talent and break bad habits and run off the deadbeats.

Remember, Saban was 6-6 his first year and lost to La-Monroe.

We chose not to hire Fedora and Sumlin went 11-2 and beat Alabama.

.......yeah, but there's a HUGE difference between Saban and Stoops and Bama football and UK football. A lot of UK fans would take a 6-6 record in Stoops 3rd or 4th year. Bama fans would be getting rid of Saban if he did that in his 4th season.

Stoops is a victim of the hype machine. He brings in a recruiting class that is good for UK and everyone forgets were a bad team, and then to make matters worse, he has to open the season against a Petrino coached Sun Belt team that runs roughshot over us.

Stoops doesn't have 3 years of shitty teams - he won't be able to keep recruiting for a 4-8 UK team that can't beat Vandy or Ole Miss.

Read where Petrino was already denying rumors he'll replace Kiffin at the real USC. Western better enjoy while they can and Kentucky had better hope the rumor is true if they ever want to be the second best football team in the state again.
