When mom passed away 8 years ago, she still had her chrome Sunbeam toaster she got as a wedding gift in 1950. I thought, at the time, that this thing must be worth something, but when I researched it, it turns out it’s not because there are still a bunch of these still out there being used.

If you replace "x.com" with "twitter.com" in the links you keep trying to embed, it will automatically display it without using any other token tags.

Spending the weekend in y’all’s neck of the woods in a little town called Jefferson or maybe West Jefferson in Ashe County. This is a hidden gem. Went to the farmers market this morning , went to some wineries, weather permitting we are renting bikes tomorrow

That’s about 3.5-4 hours from me. I think I’ve driven through there, but that was long ago.

West Jefferson is a cool little town. My son got married at a wedding venue near there.

heh, I will listen to it this weekend
Paducah, BTW, is now a stop for Viking River cruises
also Alice Cooper was in Paducah today, just handing out, shopping and eating at the cracker barrel. He was by himself and a friend of mine asked him to eat with him and he did.

That story would've been better if your buddy had asked him to eat him rather than eat with him. But it's still a good story....
