I put a thing up about a cool new show on FX, and you guys ignore it and have spent two days discussing HGTV.

talk of cancelling the chefs/steelers game til Monday but I think they get it in unless the main part of the strom gets here sunday morning insteady of sunday afternoon--driv home for those poor schmucks will be a mf. tickets have been falling to less then face value

About the only shows I watch now are Bob's Burgers, Seinfeld reruns and whatever is on late night on FX or SyFy or one of the science channels or PBS. Sometimes I check TCM to see if something good is on.

I think I should start my own YouTube show as I attempt to make home repairs (hole in the roof, leaky upstairs plumbing, clogged kitchen drain) by watching YouTube how-to videos. I have a decent arsenal of tools but they're all from the '50s because they belonged to my dad and shit is scattered everywhere so if I spend 3 hours fixing something, that means at least an hour spent looking for a tool. I would cuss a lot and throw shit so it would be a comedy show, too.

Ice storm? Shit, it's 70º here today. It feels like goddam summer.

I told my buddies that I heard good things about Taboo. I haven't watched it yet...so I was not trying to start any discussions.

this morning I"m watching a show called Zombie House Flippers. I don't normally watch it but I was waiting on the wife so it was on.

Anyways - they are doing a walk thru for a house they just finished and they go into the bathroom. Open the cabinet under the sink and there is a rat - not a mouse, but a rat. And the thing is, there is no way a rat could have got in that cabinet but the drama was they were broke, on a deadline and had an open house in 2 days or whatever so they have to solve this rat problem in the house.

I went there to pick up my pizza tonight and I said - I know you must get this all the time but grammas.com is not where you order pizza and the manager's reponse (a woman) was "I don't like talking about it. The kid making the pizzas behind her looked at me like he didn't know what I was talking about so I said - on your break go to Grammas.com. The manager wasn't having it.
