I dunno...that doesn't seem too bad. The guy was reaching up under his helmet and it looks to me he swung first

swinging a helmut at a person without a helmut on is like swinging a bat at someone. Severe injury can occur. Don't get me wrong, I hope they don't suspend him. And if the guy swung first, suspend him as well (they both have history of past occurrences.

I wouldn't really call that "going berserk". If anything, it was more of a follow-thru on the helmet rip-off, barely a true swing...

Looks like a 15 yarder to me.

yea I think it was more of a reaction to having the helmet rip off unexpectedly

If he had pulled the helmet off, stood there for a second with it in his hand, and then deliberately swung it, yeah, suspend the guy, whether he makes contact or not. But as it happened in that video? OK, maybe eject him from the game (esp. it being a preseason game, although I guess I wouldn't have a problem even if it was a regular season game, just b/c of the look factor). And I realize it's just some yahoo labeling the youtube video as "So and so goes berserk", but still, that's an outrageous overstatement of what happened there. That was just good, natural, heat of the moment aggression, not "going berserk"...

Well, he got one game (and no team contact), so the law has been laid.

A&M's Chancellor did an interview yesterday with a College Station tv reporter which basically said that he knows Manziel is innocent, and that he doesn't "have to (hear it from Johnny). I don't have to hear from him. I don't have to hear from him. I can hear from his original accusers and what they're saying now. Didn't happen..."
Apparently the rumor is today that A&M's legal counsel has obtained an affidavit from at least one memorabilia dealer that claims that the dealer was paid to tell a news source that Manziel was paid to sign autographs. This being A&M and A&M being full of nutters, the rumor also goes on to say that the dealer was paid by a University of Texas booster.

Dear Lord: please let that affidavit be made public, and please allow me to have the afternoon off so that I can listen to Finebaum that day. Amen.

It would be great if this ended up being a double reverse by A&M to smear UT...
