Wow, Kansas cuts it to (gasp) 14 on a legitimately nice drive to the basket. First one in about 17 minutes by them. No way they or anybody else in the country recovers from down 14 to this UK squad. Somehow, though, if it was UK down by 14 right now, I'd be thinking they definitely had a good shot to still pull off the win...

What was the over/under again? UK is clearly going to cover, but looks like the over/under is going to be close, esp. if KU gets their head out of their ass and manages to shoot 40% in the second half...
I remember calling my brother from Chapel Hill at halftime of the 2009 championship game, I told him there was no way we were going to lose (pretty easy to say when you're up 19 at the half). I imagine more than a few UK fans are feeling that way right now. As they should be...

some of the shot contests look like if Davis isnt there to get it, the secondary defender in the area would of been there anyway

Terrance Jones would be a much more consistent ball player if he had a chin. It's the only thing holding him back.

kansas is horrible tonight.
I don't even remember hearing anything about Davis until the season began, probably in the UNC game. but then 100% of my UK knowledge comes from this place and all I heard since last year was Teague and Gilchrist. Davis is the best college freshman I've seen in a long time. the other UK players are good but he's what makes that team great.
the fire-breathing monster in the paint is no longer a myth.
