i would have luved moncton too if it wasn't so damn cold and depressing what with their sustained 25% unemployment rate. the fact that my dual-citizenship ex-fiancee that introduced me to the city was BPD and liable to kill me at any moment for any reason (or no reason) might have put New Brunswick in a dimmer light. i have to say i was impressed with all the Massachusetts license plates in town that weekend. when the french-canadian-yanks weren't at the China Buffet, they were all parked at the bingo
alrighty then, you little ray of sunshine....
didn't mean to depress you.
luv is a strong emotion. what do you
luv about moncton? what is to luv about that place? that's like saying I luv youngstown ohio.
well...it's about twenty minutes south of the cottage...full of history...cool places nearby...nice people...nice weather...i don't know..i luv the east coast and every place in it...

Chickens belong on the left side of the road. That way both directions of traffic have the same opportunity at supper.

yes, I love the East Coast too. It is a better part of the country for employment, for education, and for vacation and road trips. I genuinely believe that the I-95 (particularly that wide open, never any traffic stretch from Richmond VA to Georgia) was invented for the sole purpose to get New York City and Boston residents down to Florida in their own family cars in under 24 hours and for less than 70 gallons of gasoline. On the West Coast, life can be a bit more difficult. There isn't the cultures, the different educations, and travel can be a bitch. There are too many too tall mountains and too many too wide canyons, forces them to put highways in really awkwards spots. that said, I do love the West Coast for very different reasons, much better weather, much cheaper real-estate (provided we aren't talking houses West of the San Andreas), people aren't quite as hung up on small, stupid shit

Canada may be the next superpower.
The rest of the world must prepare for a new hegemony of niceness, hockey, and everything being in French as well as English.

That doesn't account for the waves of Americans that will flow across their southern border, looking for meaningful work.
