that rumour of the Lakers going after LBJ is one that I actually believe could be legitimate for ALOT of reasons.

If there was ever a guy that had an ego suited for LA, it is LeBron. You can guarantee he would be into movie producing within 3 weeks of signing a contract and the movies would be starring himself.

Too early. And only if Wade follows. Bring it up when his contract is actually up. Stupid story.

Wade would probably not follow him. In two years, I think Wade will be 33 with a style not suited for the long haul. He'll get another contract somewhere, at that time, but he won't be sought after and Lebron wouldn't need him to take the pressure off because he already has his ring.

I just keep thinking back to LA's original goal...and trying to imagine how that would have played out.

1. Chris Paul PG
2. Kobe Bryant SG
3. Dwight Howard C
4. Metta W Peace SF
5. A PF to be named

What team would have been better? I think the above trade would have made LA better in the long haul, but the team we have now is better suited to win a championship this year. It's all on Mike Brown's shoulders. I'm 100% Bart Scott.

Wade already showed he wouldn't follow... that's how the boys ended up in Miami.... they came to him.

I don't think Wade will opt out of his contract and he will finish his days with the Heat.

But I honestly see LBJ whoring himself again. He loves that crap.

Dwight Howard changes the Lakers' offensive prowess dramatically. Post defenders do not want to leave their man when D12 is playing...at least against Sacramento.

that wasn't as ugly as those pre-season games, but it was close. Brown has these guys playing way too slow, the TNT guys were correct. It did not help any of the players, outside of Gasol, play to their relative strengths.

If this keeps up, Gasol is traded for younger and cheaper talent.

Nash has a fracture. I dunno what to make of this bunch just yet. Would feel better about things if they had a dynamic young PG apprentice.

Wasn't really expecting Kobe to have to go into "savior" mode right away to try and rescue games.

Mike Brown's usage of players is distructive. Playing Kobe 43 minutes in a game the Lakers were not going to win? And Kobe has a bad foot, to boot (excuse the pun)? This is why Mike Brown teams burn out in the Playoffs.

I think we'll ultimately get on solid footing, but Brown is not a coach I think will get us a chip.

You're a Lakers fan? Assumed Knicks or Nets.

yeah, Lakers fan for a good while now. Started off a Philly fan who hated the Lakers, then things changed...long story.

I will catch a few Nets games this year, though. I will support the borough-sponsored team in that fashion. Going to see them play the Clips the day after Thanksgiving (my brother and I are coming up from Philly...and the wife and kids will still be at my in-laws for the holiday). Also, I always come up on tickets when the Lakers are in town...unless I'm working or something. So, I'll be at that game in December. But, I don't think I'll ever fully be a Knicks fan...or a Nets fan.

Should've asked over email. That's what Bug did. So, he knew.

Sam knows. Rah knows. West knows. I think Greg could've known but he never put two and two together after a night in Vegas when he met some people.

They should have hired Brian Shaw from the beginning. That was Jimmy Buss' ego making the move and he has to eat crow.

Winning 1 game in the last 13 games is not quite something one should be blase about.

ESPN is covering this like the death of a sitting President.

Way to early to make this move. Ridiculous.

Too late. It should have been made at the end of last season
