Nice touch by Davis with the gold Mardi Gras beads...

They could've easily let KU bring it up and eat a few seconds off the clock and then fouled. Instead, they chose to lay back in the cut, which cost them the game. That's on the coach. Somewhat similar to when Webber called a timeout they didn't have against us in '93, the main difference being that Michigan was down 2 in that situation. It would've been like if we had had the ball up 2 and one of our guys had called a timeout and then Michigan got 2 ft's and possession and ended up winning. That would've been on Dean, but of course the chances of that happening to a Dean Smith coached team would've been slim to none. All part of the game...
A "no doubt" along with an "in the cut" and an illustrious "all part of the game" closing? Well done, hedge. Well done.

Stu has been listening to Doggy Style lately, he's obsessed with "in the cut". He was like "what does that mean?" and I was like "you know what the hell it means", and then used it appropriately about 5 times before our conversation was over...

I have no problem with kentucky winning tonight. the davis kid seems like a good kid and the rest of the team really play well together. 137 points seems like a steel for the under. ku has to hit some shots outside better then they have and hope kentucky hits nothing out there.

that said 68 62 kentucky
I wouldn't have paid Talent anyway. He never posted that he was in. He's a pussy.

I like Withey's game. I'm not sure of his height, but he has the type of game that will give him a long NBA bench life.

OK, that means whoever came in third doesn't have to pay, since Rat wasn't going to pay irregardless. It's like he wasn't even in it...

Kansas is pushing and smacking like crazy in this game. The refs aren't calling it, but the UK kids aren't getting rattled by it either. I've never seen teenagers play so steady, as consistently.

I was in it. I declared it here per the rules that go back many years. Talent didn't. Enough said.

Nope, if you're saying you weren't going to pay if Talent won, that means, ipso facto (just throwing in a lawyer term since we're talking about Talent here), given that Talent won, you weren't in. Which means the 3rd place guy becomes the second place guy and doesn't have to pay. I don't why you seem to be objecting, I thought you'd be delighted at anything that might cause consternation to Talent, however facetious...

Stu's right, this one is over. It's kinda reminding me of our title game against MSU, over before halftime. Congrats to the UK fans in here. Everybody likes a good game, but I have to say, it's much more satisfying winning in a rout, which is what this one is going to be...

Kansas has missed more easy floaters in the lane. They are clearly so scared of getting their shit slapped out of the gym by Davis that they're putting extra loft on every runner they throw up, to terrible effect. I give Davis credit for that. He doesn't even have to do anything to affect the other team, just his presence has fucked with their game. OTOH, UK is now starting to light it up from behind the arc. That's a pretty bad combination if you're KU...

Whitey can't even make a 4 foot chip shot b/c Davis is in front of him. He wasn't even close. Not sure I've seen a brick from 3 feet out, but that was one....
