The RNC would do well to pay attention to the true conservatives of the American South and steer well clear of this Rino called Romney

Like that'll ever happen.

I think it should concern Romney camp that the only states he's won are western states with lots of Mormons (but not Colorado) and states that are borderline liberal (NH, Maine, Florida, Ohio, Michigan)

Illinois will be interesting. Already reports that Romney is bombarding the Chicago area with ads and out-spending Santorum around 10 to 1. Downstate is going to be heavily Santorum but with a good turnout around Chicago, Romney should win.

All this money wasted on picking someone who won't beat Obama. As we all knew before this GOP clusterfuck started. Shameful.

Here in IL, 100% of the commercials I've seen are Romney's.

I'm just amazed that so many Southern fundamentalists are voting for two papists. They must prefer Mary worshipers to magic underwear wearers.

And yes, because it's such a big city, Chicago often pulls the rest of the state in tow in general elections. But remember, Chicago is one of the most Democrat cities in America. You can put all the Republicans in Cook County in a school bus. Because of that, Chicago may not save Illinois for Romney if the downstaters unite behind Santorum. If Santorum and Gingrich split the conservative vote like they have been, Romney will roll in IL.

Either way though it doesn't matter. Ya got 4 more years of Obama, make the most of it or cry some more. Your choice.

Santorum will take like 40 of the 90 delegates in Alabama and Mississippi. Gingrich will take like 26, Romney takes 24. Then Romney takes 16 of 23 delegates in Hawaii and all 9 in American Samoa tonight. So, tonight was about even for Romney.

Santorum can not catch him.

Check out this Palin video. She's telling Hannity that Obama is "trying to take us back to the time before the civil war...before we were in different classes based on income and based on color of skin...why are we going backwards?" Judge for yourself if she is being taken out of context as she claims.

Can someone explain to me why Paterno deserved to be fired and showered with scorn and suffer complete humiliation in his last few months of life but the media seems to be protecting Jim Boeheim?
Because Paterno was informed about the abuse and didn't do enough to prevent it in the future. Thus far, there is little evidence that Boeheim knew or should have known about the abuse before it was broken last year.

The yankees just aren't that funny anymore. Ever since the Big Stei went to that big owner's box in the sky.

Look prof - no doubt you were butthurt by what Letterman said about the un-named Palin daughter. But it was one line and Dave apologized the next day.

Otoh Rush harangued that poor young woman for three whole days - slamming her at least 50 times. And she's a relative nobody. At least concede that much.

Hell, Joe the Plumber stood up to Obama and nobody harangued him for being a sex deviant. I think at most he was accused of not actually being a plumber (apparently he was using somebody else's state license).
Mr. Plumber will be running against Marcy Kaptur in the 9th Congressional District. In the past, I would have been in that district, but they changed the boundaries just this past year.

Ok. Now how about Syracuse's program knowingly playing guys who tested positive for drugs over the past decade? Or current players on the team possibly being involved in academic fraud, the rumored reason Melo was given the boot?

Mr. Boeheim conveniently remains in the dark about a lot of things surrounding his program

They'll wait for the report, but I wouldn't be surprised if Boeheim doesn't end up 'retiring' this year

Code: Select all

Romney: I'm winning all the "kind of important states"
Romney mostly wins:

1. In the northeastern states, where they are fond of liberals and where he'll never win in November.
2. Out west, where there are a lot of Mormons.
3. Where the conservative vote is split between Santorum and Gingrich (OH, MI).

Romney should beg and plead Gingrich to stay in, keep splitting the conservative vote, and thereby ensure a Romney nomination. Or Romney should pay Adelson to continue funding Gingrich for the same reason.
