He got me one last year and it didn't work nearly as good as this one does, but I read that after you hook it up, you should open the cannister valve just slightly and let it sit like that for a few seconds, then open the valve on the flamethrower, then light it, so I may not have been following the correct order and volume of valve opening when I was doing it last year on the other one. So maybe they're both good. But this one is definitely good...
