3 All-Stars, no chance at the play-offs. Awesome.

My fucking god i hate these lazy ass motherfucking Reds right now. They are behind the fucking Pirates right now and like its no big deal yet. You are behind the Pirates, in April that's a big fucking deal. The effort is pathetic. Time to bring up some young spunk. Stubbs needs a blow.in AAA. This team won't make the playoffs without some serious changes.

I really think last year was a tease for Reds fan. This team isn't ready for prime time. Last year everything just fell in place at the right times. This year, not so much. They are being built for a long haul type of winning. Trying to build a Philly like setup to be winning a bunch of years in a row.
Look at this way - Cards will be older next year and may be without Roiduljos.
Pittsburgh - young but they will find a way to fuck it up.
Cubs - Gigantic cluster fuck that will take at least 2 seasons to clean up.
Brewers - They went all in for this year. Either they get success this year or it won't happen.
Astros - Messy and don't see them being a contender for another season or two.
I like the Reds chances over the next 3-5 seasons as long as pitching stays healthy and we keep the core group of this team together.

The Braves have the 2nd best record in the NL. Unfortunately, the team with the best record is in our division.

It's not unfortunate for them. Or their fans. Or the 99% of the world's population who doesn't know or care anything about them. It's just a fact. Maybe instead of "unfortunately" you should have said "But guess what?"...

No. That is incorrect. It is unfortunate for the teams and the fans because the chance of winning the division is greatly diminished and we will need to hold pace and try to win the wildcard. Winning the Wildcard likely means that we'd be on the west coast, and as you may know, the wildcard team must travel the first two games....which is unfortunate for the Braves a d the Braves fans.
In short, F! Take a seat.

It's not unfortunate for the team that has the best record, or the fans of that team...

The Dusty Baker Effect is finally sinking in. Or maybe Jocketty's a moron. Or maybe both. Or maybe both are morons. Probably all of the above.
