1st episode was pretty good, esp. all the titties

I was trying to watch episode one at work (yeah I know which part of NSFW didnt I understand) and the scene came up where Viserys is fondling Daenery's boobs and one of my co-workers walked up and said "wow look at that they have the same hair." and I said "yeah they're brother and sister" I thought he was going to choke.

This episode was a lot better, despite a noted lack of titties compared to the first.

there was a lot of brother/sister action back in those days apparently. should be a hit in Kentucky

so GOT is not based on some historical shit but rather it's a medieval fantasy play? does that mean there'll be magic(k) and shit later on? I hope not. I hate that shit and I know it makes mook giddy

They lost me killing the wolf at the end. I'd rather they'd killed off the damn kid. Lame.

so they kill the kid in the first episode and now the wolf pup

wtf? are they just trying to piss the audience off?

The kid didn't die, apparently. I guess that's how the books go and they have to follow them but yeah I kind of agree. It's been entertaining otherwise, but someone or something seemingly getting offed at the end of every episode will get old quickly, if it hasn't already.

as long as they keep showing that little blondie getting fucked each week, they'll be fine

I don't think there are any spoilers in here, so this may help people who have trouble getting familiar with so many damn characters. There may be slight spoilers in that these character bio's might reveal parts of the backstroy that havent been shown on screen yet (for instance, they havent delved too deeply into why Robert and Ned went to war against the old king, but that is touched on in some of the bios).

ron needs to stop looking at this as an original series. HBO didnt cripple Bran any more than peter jackson killed boromir. hbo is following the books not making it up as they go like with the wire and deadwood.

I thought I mentioned "that's how the books go and they have to follow them." In any case, I'm not blaming HBO for anything, but it might be that the stories themselves might not be my cup of tea. Like I said before it's not that I don't like violent shows or stories, but I just get the feeling that it's more gratuitous in this series in a "let's see how much we can shock the reader/viewer" sort of way, especially with the way the first two episodes have ended. To each his own, I may give it another week but in any case at least Treme is back so there's something to see on Sunday nights regardless.

Haven't seen GOT (no HBO), but it sounds like Spartacus (which I watched on the Netflix back when I had it) with better production value and less gore.

Watch through episode 4 at least. I think 3 will be the last of the "introductory" epsisodes.

Is Treme actually good?
