The fact that I would have been proven right wouldn't have changed anyone's opinion, but it would have proven that recruiting really is Kinda (sorta) a craps shoot.
I mean, Luke Kuechly? Do we really get him if anyone had really known how good he was?
Yes. BC & ND have always had a nice pipeline here in Cincy to the GCL. (Greater Catholic League). That's been going on since I was a kid. Everyone knew how good he was.
No. Everyone did not know.
If they had known, he would have had 5-stars (like Brian Toal) and not 3-stars. So no, everyone did not know. But yes, BC has a nice pipeline in Cincy to the GCL.

Everyone did know. He was offered by many top programs. I lived here & watched it happen. You on the other hand had no idea who he was until he started as a freshman. Do you even know how that pipeline was solidified? And please, don't google it first.

I have no idea. All I know is that Kuechly played like a 5-star (2 stars more than he was given.) He deserved a far better coach and a far better situation than he got in his tenure at BC.

How is that? He was a #1 pick? Can you please just die now?

His 3 years at BC, 2 of them the team sucked. Yes, he was a number one pick and that's great but he was going to be a number one pick no matter where he played. His time at BC, sucked.
That's how. And no, I will not die now.

Would have never thought UK would ever have a top 10 recruiting class in football. Being #2 is amazing to say the least. Stoops!

Way to avoid IB. Again, everyone knew about him in high school. If you won't die will you at least chop off your hands?

It's all well and good, Crotch, but you do realize that UK will slide in the rankings once the 5-stars begin to commit? Still, it's nice to be excited about UK football.

Oh yeah, I know. I didn't fall off the turnip truck with Rat. Still though, Stoops is doing an amazing job. Maybe in a couple years he will start inking a few 5 star guys.
