The MIF got me a pair of underwear called Saxx... well, I'll just post what they have on their website. These things are nice...

"In 2006, Trent Kitsch was on an Alaskan fishing expedition and after spending hours in a cold, clammy ocean suit he knew there had to be a better way to protect his package from chafing. A former baseball player, he imagined a catcher’s mitt hammock design and turned it upside down in his mind. After the fishing trip, and with the hammock idea still percolating, he worked with a seamstress and designer - and himself as the fit model - to create a panelled fabric hammock that separated his balls from his legs. Fourteen prototypes later, the BallPark™ Pouch and SAXX Underwear was ready for action."

I was skeptical, but this thing works. Really cradles the nutlets. Evidently they come in several different materials, but she got me the viscose. Never heard of it before or at least certainly never had anything made from this, but it's nice. Some kind of fiber made from wood pulp cellulose. Damn, I like these...

Can't remember which thread it was in, but an update on our cheerleader friends.

I've actually been to Thee Dollhouse many years ago with a group. Some of the guys in the group vouched for the great customer service in the back rooms.

Bob Jones would roll over in his grave at one of his graduates patronizing a place called "Thee Dollhouse."

Does anyone know why it's called "Thee Dollhouse?" Does that mean it's thine Dollhouse? Or was it a cheap way to skirt around a copyright lawsuit?

There was an Asian buffet here in town that closed and reopened with local-style barbecue on the menu. Clearly, the slant running it figured out that barbecue was the most popular food in town so why not add it to the menu with all the other standard Chinese slop? So they changed the name to City BBQ. Well, there is a chain called City BBQ that serves real barbecue and ribs and other shit. There's a franchise in Raleigh, which is about 40 miles from here, so the legit City BBQ told the slant City BBQ that they had to change their name or be sued.

So the slant literally made the "C" on his sign into a "B" and turned it into "Bity BBQ". It eventually went out of business.

wife made 4 cheese tortellini last night from Costco along with a Classico Alfredo sauce. Just a simple pasta meal.

no one will accuse me of having high brow taste but that was a great meal. Certainly on par with anything I've ever had at Maggiano's or Buca

we've also come to the point where we pretty much have wine with every meal now.

There is a 2 buck chuck type brand I like called Crane Lake. I can usually get it for less than $5 a bottle.

I would have never imagined that 10 years ago (not me drinking cheap wine, but me having it almost daily).

It might be a fad with us, who knows how long it will last

Let me guess, chardonnay with breakfast?
