Say one curse word and bailiffs will swarm the defendant. Say a second curse word, and you're going to be toted out of there and slammed on a wall. That's the way every judge around here works.

What do they do when you, a curse incarnate, walk into the courtroom?

watching a documentary about the Earps and the O.K. Corral
never heard this piece of the story. When a stagecoach driver was murdered, Earp was investigating it, saw that it was 3 men who robbed the stage and knew that it had to be one of the cowboys, so he went to Ike Clanton and asked him to give him names. There was a $3600 reward for the capture of the men who did it, and he promised Ike that if he gave them the names, Ike would get the money
Ike was reluctant to tell him but Wyatt promised he would never reveal who gave him the names, so Ike told him.
A few weeks later the men attempted another robbery and were killed so Wyatt could never bring them to trial to prove their conviction, but Ike didn't see it that way. He felt he owed $3600 by Wyatt and that's what started the bad blood.

also, Arizona put together a posse to go after Earp after he shot Curly Bill - and Wyatt, not liking his odds of escaping a rope left Arizona without ever getting Ike.

Been watching that series. They did take a few liberties. For example, Virgil was the marshall, Wyatt was the deputy Marshall. Virgil was the leader and while he had a gun, it was holstered. He walked with a cane in his hand. Also, there were 5 cowboys but two, including Ike ran. Ike was unarmed at the time. Also, Virgil and Morgan weren't shot on the same day, Morgan was shot 4 months after Virgil. The vendetta ride was led by Wyatt but also included his younger brother Warren. Very similar to the Regulators and Billy the Kid, the Vendetta was a federal posse and warrants. The competing warrants against the Earps were state or local. Soon after the death of Stilwell, the state posse started looking for the Earps, not after the death of Brocius. They never caught up to them.

the Earp story was much more interesting than Billy the Kid or Jesse James. Sitting Bull was just kinda sad.
no mention of Johnny Ringo IIRC

just watch Tombstone with Kurt Russell, but before you do, remember that Kurt owes Ike Clanton $3600 and ain't paying him.
at the end it was pretty cool to hear that Earp spent his last years 1926-28 consulting on silent movie westerns in Hollywood and gave advice on how to be a western lawman to a young Marion Morrison who was working as a stagehand on a couple of the movies.

Oops. Everyone makes mistakes and "I made one." Everyone makes mistakes but the key to being a Pen poster is when you make a mistake, you learn from it. You then make a plan so that you don't make the mistake again and develop a policy that it won't happen again.
Also, eCat is such an asshole for making me answer that incorrectly.
