yea I read a book about Hathcock several years ago. The movie Sniper with Tom Berrenger steals alot of stuff from his stories.
This guy isn't a hero but his book about killing people is just as interesting. Any guy that went around killing people and then writes a book about it called Unrepentant Sinner has a special place in hell. I think I mentioned him last year on here or the old pen. In the later years of his life, he'd go big game hunting in Vietnam and Africa, and while there get bored shooting animals and start shooting people. The book doesn't really get too deep into the murder for sport side of him, you have to kind of read between the lines but I've talked to some people online that knew the guy and they don't mince words about what a psychopath he was. Those that knew him would not turn their back on him if he had a gun in his hand.

"seriously? have you not been paying attention? your school is a diploma mill that churns out burger flippers, nba dunkers, and corrupt attorneys at the expense of the 15 other schools in the unc system. unc-ch is a cancer on the state of North Carolina."
Priceless. State fan bitterness is the gift that just keeps on giving...

UNC law school is a decent law school and the undergraduate school is overall considered a very good state system

the undergrad program is a joke. 82% of all grades handed out are A's or B's. over 80 classes give out nothing but A's. professors give out passing grades for papers that are 80% plagiarized. you've obviously not been reading my posts oon the unc football board.
it's ok, I understand.

Actually, I'm looking at performance on LSAT's, MCAT's and GRE's. Their students that apply seem to do very well. As for grade inflation, it's hardly worse than Stanford, Harvard and Yale. You're not going to say those are bad schools because of their high grade inflation I hope?

I've tried to explain to Auggie that grade inflation is a problem throughout academia, but he doesn't seem to grasp it. He's blinded by his hatred for Carolina.

Okay, I'm watching Karen Black in Airport '75, and I'm convinced that she was capable of giving up the hot, monkey-nasty good sex, crossed eyes and all. I can imagine those wayward eyes rolling back into her skull as she's busting nut number five at around 3:30 AM.
Yes, I'm drinking.
