OUTSIDER'S VIEW: This is the best Kentucky team I've ever seen -- bar none -- and I've seen them all since 1975.

yep

but the 3 freshman 2 soph starting lineup and lack of depth against lousiville/nc/syracuse/kansas/ohiostate will be fun to watch

all those teams could get kentucky's bigs in foul trouble on the big stage if the officials don't let em play

Careful, lest you summon the batman of palindromes.

Harrison Barnes draft stock is dropping so hard he may be back next year. The guy just has no energy, and I'm not sure about his intelligence. The kid has one of the dumbest looks on his face that I ever seen.

I like what Clark Kellogg said, you dont see games like this anymore. Up tempo lots of fouls, free throws, and 100 points. Great win for the CATS. Too bad for Kellogg Jr and the Ohio Bobcats. That last free throw made they would have won.

You cant say the would have one down one Roy might have done something different though probably not sense he is the worse coach in big time college basketball.

Roy the set you used to Start OT, why not run that at the end of the game,,, duh

Run a ply for once at the end of a game

Stillman White was so much better than Watts and did a great job on Copper

I am actually looking forward to him coming back in two years and be a nice back up point to PAIGE or Birtt

I would agree, esp. now that Jones has found his game again. Him and Barnes are going in opposite directions. Nobody is going to beat UK if they play like they did last night. Granted, I don't think this field is as weak as the one Carolina mowed thru in '09, but this is still their year to have a tourny run like that. Sucks that Marshall went down, that had the potential to be an epic finals (if both teams made it)...

Looking at the replay of the last play last night, Barnes didn't get stuffed, but he didn't just lose the ball, either, the Ohio guy got a hand on it and, since he was taking it up so weak, as usual, and expecting a foul, Ohio got the turnover. No way Stackhouse or Carter or Shun May would've gotten the ball stripped from them at that point in the game. At this point, Barnes needs to lead the Heels to a victory tomorrow with a 30+ point performance to salvage his reputation...

The secured leave I took and the hotel reservations for the Final Four may have been a bit premature on my part...

If Kansas plays like they've been playing recently, we can beat them. They won't bully us down low and if they keep throwing up bricks like they have the past few games, we can win. But I suspect they're going to magically rebound from their horrific 3 point shooting slump and light us up...

They're shooting 14 of 67 from behind the arc in their past 4 games (loss to Baylor, decently comfortable win over Detroit, lucky as shit win over Purdue and very close win over NCState), for less than 21%. I don't see that trend continuing for some reason...

UPDATE: Saturday Marshall Info
Marshall participated in practice today, said he feels a lot better & a decision on him playing will be made tomm

Would not play if the game was today.

Special brace allows for 20 percent motion of his right wrist. Little problem shooting, but passing and catching presented issues this AM.

Can open and close his right hand with no pain. Went through limited practice this morning with no contact.

Hard for me to believe that he could be very effective tomorrow, but just getting on the court for a few possession would be a huge emotional lift for the team. If we could somehow get past Kansas, I think he would be ready to play by Saturday. He wouldn't be 100%, but Marshall at 75% is 80% better than Stillman White at 110%...
