No man, it's like the Hotel California. You can check out anytime you want but you can never leave....

I'm excited about that.

Good work by the golfer. People using the course as a walking track are a damn nuisance who are putting their safety at risk to some degree, walking a dog makes it that much worse. We need more men like that old guy.

Me and a couple of buddies went to what was then Yugoslavia one summer in college, but only up and down the Adriatic coast, which is what Croatia is now. You'll like it...

We took an overnight boat from somewhere (Split? Dubrovnik? I can't remember) to Venice, it was kinda nasty and stanky but cool to see nonetheless. I saw some pictures a few months into covid after all the tourism had stopped completely, the canals were clean and clear but I bet they're not anymore. Still, it's worth going. Florence isn't too bad of a train ride from there, but again, overrun with tourists, and that was like 35 years ago. But hash was plentiful, which was important to my 21 year old self. I've never been but I've heard (and you can check out pictures) that the Italian alps are spectacular. I'd like to do that one day...

Good thing about train travel in Europe (used to be at least) is you can buy a general pass for whatever length of time you plan to be there and you can go wherever you want, whenever you want. If you've got a strict itinerary it might be cheaper to get the exact tickets you need, but it's nice to have a general Eurail pass if you decide you just want to take off to some city you hadn't thought about or planned for, even if only for a day or two...

My older brother from PA had a friend back out of a golf trip to Pinehurst last minute. He needed a fourth so he asked me to fill in. Two things to note: 1) My brother is much older than me, around 69, and so are his friends. They still tee off from the whites so I was ok with it because I know these guys play a lot and are still good. 2) This isn’t the high end Pinehurst, this is the $495 for three nights, and four rounds of golf Pinehurst. Still decent courses, though.
I got a glimpse into what life is for me 15 years from now. It could have been a Geico becoming your parents commercial. They couldn’t stay up past 10pm even though their beloved Penguins were on tv in a playoff game, and were up at 5am every morning. Every meal is paid with cash by these guys and they analyzed everything on the bill. I never saw anything excite them more than when they found out there was a free lunch that came with one of the courses. They still played as well or better than me even though I out drove them on each hole. One thing I learned was that my short game has got to get better because drives get shorter the older you get.

Me and the MIF just got back from walking the dogs, at one point we walked past this fambly standing in their yard, the dad was doing something and the two kids, aged about 5 and 7, ran towards us pointing at the dogs. About that time I saw something in the gutter, reached down to pick it up, it looks like money, but fake. Turns out to be a $2 bill. I used to collect coins and I noticed the red seal on the bill, but it didn't immediately click that this was clearly an older bill, so I handed it to the older kid. I mean, $2, whatever. I would've given it to him if it had been a $5 and probably even a $10. Whatever. The MIF asked me what it was I told her it was $2, and I said "and it was an older one, too, red seal," and then I said "wait a minute" and walked over to the kid and said let me check the date on that. It was 1953. His mom is standing there now (way younger than me) and I'm like "Man, I think I have to keep this, I didn't realize it wasn't just a $2 bill." I told her I'd bring him $5 and she was like, nah, don't worry about it. The MIF was kinda pissed, she was openly calling me an indian giver in front to the mom and kids. The kids didn't really seem to care. Fuck those kids anyway, I was and am glad to give an unknown kid something of minor value, but why the fuck am I going to give him something of potentially real value? I realize the way it went down kinda makes me look like an asshole, but fuck y'all too. Fuck everybody!!

did you go back and give him $5?
my wife and I have been walking our dogs around the local high school for years. She has a jar of money we find. Its not much - probably about $12 worth, but just this week we found two sets of airpods in the case. We've also found shirts, water bottles, addidas sandals
high schools are so irresponsible.

After installing 2 bidets in my house I've come to this conclusion
Asian's buttholes are where Anglo mens ballsacks are
There is alot of adjusting on my part to use this thing
Or maybe they are more about getting the cooch ringed out on a woman
I'm not sure but the angle is wrong regardless
