Yes,

Jews, Protestants, and Catholics (with their little off-shoot Orthodox brothers) should unite about this, but, alas, as always it will have to be the protestant evanglicals that carry the water since, in the end, each Jew and Catholic will ultimately vote as to what is best for their own personal interest...

If/when this conflict progresses to civil disobedience, I think you will see the same mix you see at a typical pro-life rally - about 50/50 conservative Catholics and evangelicals. We can all together feel the firehoses and German shepherds unleashed by the champions of tolerance, pluralism and diversity.

LMAO...the accommodation is "see no evil" therefore its okay? Fuck him. The amazing thing is this isn't a law, but a regulation delivered from HHS. And you jackasses wonder why people fear Obamacare and the hundred or so boards that will be pulling regs out of thin air over the next 4 years? You wonder why biz is afraid to hire when they have NO IDEA what the rules and costs will be? Amazing.

Bottom line is this dog won't hunt at all. The furor is going to continue to build and hopefully continue right on through to the first Tuesday in November...

We have pro-life rallies here about...oh, one a quarter. Crowds with signs, chants - some guy will invariably put a few dozen miniature crosses in the ground to represent aborted fetuses. Sometimes they're downtown; sometimes they're at a clinic or the PP office. Sometimes they march, but usually they just hang out in one expanse. They are generally well-mannered and they are good about picking up after themselves.

There aren't any law enforcement officers anywhere to be seen. Unless one of the protestors brings a chihuahua or a poodle, there aren't any dogs either. Certainly no firehoses....just the odd yellow fireplugs spread a 1000 feet apart.

Even if the numbers swell because of this birth control thing, I don't think we're going to see any riot gear and head-cracking. The KPD may send a couple of those fresh-faced cadets out to keep an eye on things...if they can spare them from writing parking tickets downtown (this is the bountiful season, so that could be a stretch).

There are rarely any pro-choice rallies. Seems like they are nearly all-female affairs when they do occur.

Come to think of it, the pro-life crowds are heavily male. The activities are led by ministers or clergy of some type, who are of course men.

Pro-choice has better things to do with their time than shove an agenda down anyones throat.

I will just be damned. You really DO favor the rhythm method.

Never figured you to be anti-contraceptive, puter - that you'd be out front supporting religious objections to birth control. Maybe it's all those jello shots you serve to coeds 7 Saturdays every fall. Do you preach abstinence while you hand them out?

Tick wth are you talking about? I don't care if someone wants to use voodoo, condoms, birth control pills, IUD, or wtf ever. I care about freedom and the constitution whether its an issue that directly affects me or not.

This is all about FORCING a religious organization to pay for something that it is in direct contradiction to their beliefs and teachings. Of course you do know this. And allow me to quote Andy Dufrain, how can you be so obtuse?

This "new" proposal is a load of crap. Ummm okay you don't have to cover, so we will just force all insurance companies to cover it for "free". Of course free means the cost gets passed to the organization who holds the policy so yes they would still be paying for it. He must really think people are fools.

Don't forget "contraceptive services" also includes ABORTION.

I noticed the MSM is in strict accomplice mode and are convienently leaving that out so that the outrage isn't more.

Unfortunately Oprama is right, people are fools and with the assistance of the MSM he will be elected again in a landslide.

Why can't we go back to a world where you could hand a girl $250 to correct a drunken mistake on both of our parts?

Aren't we in that world now Damone?

It's all part of making it a crisis and forcing govt on us.

If this allowed to stand, then why not make every screening test for any disease "free" and also say they can't make up for it in premiums as they are with this. Maybe knee replacements should be free after all ya can't walk if it's really bad.

Goal is to make the costs so prohibitive that insurers start getting out of the game and then insert govt as the "only" solution. Once that occurs with govt in control the they will roll back services cause the have no "choice" hence rationing begins ala Canada and uk.

It's already started in sales as the entire industry for medical imaging is down and it's gonna stay that way until November. Uptick if Romney wins. Free fall if oprama wins. About the only industry doing well is cars and that's because the avg age cars owned is the highest its been and at some point you have to buy new cars to replace those.

The most optimistic spin you can put on it is: This whole sorry episode is Obama and the democrats doing the bidding of their feminist dominatrixes. But if it's feminists who are the ones who are looking for free birth control from their employers, there will be virtually no demand. This is because 98% of feminists are either: 1.) lesbians, who certainly don't need contraceptives because they will go their entire lives never touching sperm, or 2.) women who are so ugly that they will never need contraception because no man will have ever, ever have sex with them.

You must know what you're talking about because you're a Dr. But isn't the whole idea of contraception to keep the egg and sperm from fertilizing ...thereby eliminating the necessity of an abortion?

If we really are fools for thinking that way, BOJ, you ought to spend a little more time enlightening us beyond "contraceptive services includes ABORTION." Thanks.
