Big Orange in the red.

Now, after staggering to losing football seasons in four of the last five years and seeing attendance drop to levels last seen in the 1970s, the Vols find themselves mired in more than $200 million of debt, the most in the SEC, with reserves of just $1.95 million, the least in the conference.

I don't think anyone has ever thought of "Tennessee" and "financial geniuses" in the same sentence...

Awesome opening shot: "Former San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders offensive tackle Kwame Harris will appear in San Mateo County Superior Court today on charges he assaulted his former boyfriend at a Menlo Park restaurant during an argument over soy sauce and underwear."

Also, dude looks old for 30.

That story dumbfounded me. I have always thought Tennessee to be one of the richest programs in college sports. I think we're going to see major changes in CFB in the near future. More than just changes in conference affliation. I see major downgrades and schools dropping football altoghter. The costs and the monetary losses are getting out of control. The state governments just don't have the money to underwrite it.
