"Pruitt is a good coach... not too sure he was ready for a gig with UT’s profile, but a good coach. "

UT's profile?? Maybe from the last century, but not this one. Also, I see that Tennessee players feel the same way about the whole state of Alabama as the rest of the country does...

Is that shared feeling about Alabama that Alabamians are grateful that Mississippi exists so that there is one state that Alabamians can look down on?

Uh oh, UT had held Bammer to 51 points midway thru the 3rd quarter, they probably would've been content to let their 3rd team coast at that point, but now UT had the audacity to score a meaningless TD. Bammer isn't going to like that....

Congrats to whatever Vols remain here. Tick and 10ac? Anyone else? Your team lost, but they played hard. Better times are on the horizon. Good luck the rest of the way.

Tennessee did play well... they simply do not have the horses to go head to head with Alabama right now. Fire Pruitt early, we’ll consider bringing him back to Tuscaloosa as an advisor of some sort.

So the traitorous couple behind us sold their tickets to a bama-bangs-er and his girlfriend. At some point the little woman turned to the girlfriend and politely asked her to move her long legs outta her back, which the leggy lass obliged (and pointed them straight at me). Kid bangs was already 3 sheets gone and mouthy but I struck up a running conversation with him, just so I could turn and admire the vision that was his GF. Mirrored sunglasses are a gift from God, and a true life-saving piece of equipment.

The game - meh, no surprise there. 40 some odd years ago we couldn't stop the Bear's wishbone juggernaut, and now it looks like they've got another offense on par with their killer D. Teams finally caught on to the wishbone, but I don't see anybody this side of the NFL catching up with Tua. Talk about an embarrassment of riches...kid was probably the best QB in the land LAST year too. It ain't fair...

Incorrect. “Flogged” denotes a whip or a cane. A “cudgel” is blunt. The two don’t match, as in “I wish I brandished the noose in your electrocution.” Hedge gets a D, and only then with a generous curve.

A cane isn't blunt?

So did Vandy use a cane, whip, cudgel or shovel?
