Those people on To Catch A Predator (IB's favorite show ever) should demand to be set free, they never actually engaged in pedophilia, Chris Hansen stopped em cold...

"felony murder" usually means murder because someone died while you were committing a different felony, even if you never intended to kill them. They died because you were a criminal, so its murder. So to me, "attempted felony murder" is an oxymoron. The "murder" in "felony murder" is not on purpose anyway (else it would be just murder of some degree), so its never "attempted." You cant try to commit felony murder and fail. The typical example is like two guys rob a store and one guy murders the clerk, the second guy is a felony murderer because although he didnt pull the trigger, his crime also caused the death. This seems like two guys go into a store, and the second guy's pistol is discharged and they then charge them both with attempted felony murder? wtf. Seems like any felony could be "attempted felony murder" under that kind of nonsense logic.

Felony murder has been around for ages. Attempted felony murder is a logical impossibility under common law. I guess they codified it to get around such.

From a company standpoint, is there a difference whether your employee is remote from home or prison?

The prison's ISP probably has better bandwidth / speeds if she is stuck with CenturyLink....

They let him go (I'm not sure if they dropped the charges or what?) but I believe Chris Hansen was himself arrested. Might have been tax fraud or something or other. Not quite sure. Anyway, he's free now.

Well they are coming to Florida rat. U-Haul ran out of trucks in California.

https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/u ... ue-reading
No state netted more U-Haul® customers during the last year than Texas. The Lone Star State earned bragging rights as the leading growth state of 2021, narrowly besting Florida for tops honors, according to transactional data compiled for the annual U-Haul Growth Index. Tennessee ranks third, South Carolina fourth and Arizona fifth among the top growth states. Growth states are calculated by the net gain of one-way U-Haul trucks entering a state versus leaving that state in a calendar year. Migration trends data is compiled from well over 2 million one-way U-Haul truck customer transactions that occur annually.

California is 50th and Illinois 49th on the list for the second consecutive year, indicating those states once again witnessed the largest net losses of one-way U-Haul trucks. . . . California remained the top state for out-migration, but its net loss of U-Haul trucks wasn’t as severe as in 2020. That can be partially attributed to the fact that U-Haul simply ran out of inventory to meet customer demand for outbound equipment.
And yet, California (with all the U-Hauls leaving the state, and not coming back) has the same real estate shortage problem that much of the country has. So all the U-Hauls are leaving, U-Haul has to pay money to drive them back, and still there is NO vacancy in San Francisco. How is that possible?????? I tend to think that is because California is "morphing" from middle class home lifestyle into more of a singleton family lifestyle (lots of singles working professional jobs with big-tech-money buying California homes, but not marrying IF EVER.) They don't need U-Hauls the way a family moving a houseful of furniture would. The singles have almost nothing to move. Not to mention the massive Hispanic increase in population in California, they don't rent U-Hauls either. They just pile everything into the 28 year old pick-up truck.

no, but I am not exaggerating. Since I posted my earlier message 14 people with Latino names have contacted me. 3 have said cash immediately

One is on the way (or so he says) with cash in hand to buy it. Another guy is mad because I won't let him get here before the first guy
