The word is out that UT will pay 8 mil/yr. If T Boone Pickens doesn't come with more cash and OKST doesn't agree to upgrade facilities, then Gundy may well jump. And he very well may stay put.
But the die is cast wrt UT paying top dollar. Currie either reels in a quality coach or he's out on his butt.

This hire was going to endear himself to the UT fan base and he blew it. It’s evident that he’s Jimmy Haslams lackey.

Gundy would be a great hire if you can get him. The mullet might succeed where the crew cut failed. He’s rejected other lucrative offers before, though, and might be just maneuvering for a raise.

IMO, this mob rule thingy has just made the UT job much less attractive to anyone not raised orange.

Is it time for Momma to call Tee Martin home? He's done decent work at SoCal.

I'd even take VA's HC at this point. How much does he or she make, Dave?

You'd also need our athletic director at this point....

At the rate you're going, Larry Fedora is a viable option, and I'm happy with that.

That wouldn't even be a lateral move for Fedora at this point...
