I would need to turn the volume up to hear it since I was just diagnosed with "mild to moderate hearing loss" in both years. They're trying to sell me hearing aids and telling me how much difference it will make because I will be able to hear the leaves, birds chirp in the distance, whispers, etc. Fuck that. I'm sticking with the DS family method waiting until I am next to being deaf before I get hearing aids. Granted, that's only 15-20 years from now if my father, uncles and grandparents are any indication...

I got it too but more tinnitus. The negatives of being a rock star back in the day.

My hearing loss is undoubtedly the result of (1) genetics, (2) working on tractors with my father after dinner each night with all of the sounds one hears in a shop along with those loud engines and (3) shooting tens of thousands of shotgun, rifle and pistol rounds without ear protection as a kid.

Stu hates birds. I would give a lot to see a video of that exact same thing happening to him. I did one time witness a large flying insect, perhaps even a cicada, fly up the back of his shirt once. Never seen anybody simultaneously run so fast and flail so hard in my life...

Elizabeth Holmes trial began today in California. Jury selection.
There were 200+ jurors that were given a 28 page questionaire. Her defense for losing all this investor money, she is playing the "I-am-just-a-girl-and-didn't-know-anything-and-my-boyfriend-was-abusive" defense. How #woke of them.
Maybe DS can join her defense team?
