“Science investigates; religion interprets. Science gives man knowledge, which is power; religion gives man wisdom, which is control. Science deals mainly with facts; religion deals mainly with values. The two are not rivals.”
“We must rapidly begin the shift from a "thing-oriented" society to a "person-oriented" society. When machines and computers, profit motives and property rights are considered more important than people, the giant triplets of racism, materialism, and militarism are incapable of being conquered.”
"War is a game that is played with a smile.
If you can't smile, grin. If you can't grin,
keep out of the way till you can."

“All that stuff I was taught about evolution, embryology, the Big Bang theory, all that is lies straight from the pit of hell,” U.S Rep. Paul Broun said in an address last month at a banquet organized by Liberty Baptist Church in Hartwell, Georgia. “And it’s lies to try to keep me and all the folks who were taught that from understanding that they need a savior.”
Also on that committee, Todd "legitimate rape" Akin.

My sister, mid-50's, no arrests, has voted in every election the past 30 years, with no name change in 10 years, without her knowledge was purged from the voting roles in Houston. She discovered this when she was checking on her 20 year old daughter 2 days before the registration deadline.

Were other people purged in great numbers? If so, we're they of a particular party or race?

Yeah, the partial match purges are overstepping. The article claimed that no one would be turned away if they went to vote and had been purged; said they would be reinstated at the polling site.

So, you don't think they would have reinstated her at the polling place and allowed her to vote?
