#14 in the AP. I don't see it. The AP is a mess right now. 9-11 is a joke. Anyway, they might get as high as #11 after next week but then LSU will smack them back to the 20's where I think they belong.

Two road victories against solid opponents deserves a Top 15 ranking this early in the year. The Gators haven't looked that good but they've gotten the job done.

UF started 4-0 last year too. LSU, Carolina and Ugha in a 4 week span will put us where we belong. Maybe one of those latter two can tip our way.

Too many stupid fucking penalties. We just might lose to those creamcickle orange faggots for the first time since my sophomore was in 2nd grade and it will be deserved.

Like I said, UT is no aTm. UT is like scheduling Savannah State. Easy win."
Oh how tunes can change in 90 minutes...

That's the joy of college football. You panic when the lesser team starts off strong when you expect to win. You sweat a bit. Then you watch what you figured would happen at kickoff happen. Again. For the 8th straight time.

I was talking more about the tone of your posts than the progression of the game, although I realize the former was inextricably linked to the latter...

Had a chica similar to that last one in a spaghetti strap backless number sitting next to me at the Swamp today - she must have said 'Damn it's hot today' at least a half a dozen times. To which I always replied 'Yes you certainly are'.

As for the game, the sun was relentless and the Gators did some good things on both sides of the ball - but it was Kentucky after all. Was 11 rows up from the field and got to see Driskell throw a number from close by - definitely like his confidence and delivery.

LSU at 3:30 on CBS. Isn't this about how the anti-fun started last year?

Yep. Today they are ranked as high as they will ever be this year.

So is The Hat teasing us with these underwhelming wins and ready to unleash a barrage of firepower Saturday punctuated with trick plays? Do we dare imagine that this weekend might be the game of the next 3 top ten opponents we can steal?
