Im guessing their backup to the backup was recruited harder than Ohio or South Floridas starter at the same position. So yes, I actually do know basketball. Check our brackets dipshit.

I hope the Creighton team plane crashes on the way back. I really do.

But I do think that UNC having 6 days of practice with the new guy should be enough to beat either Ohio or South Florida. After that hey, its called March Madness for a reason.

That's sorta sad DS. You'd probably lose a few relatives.

If it's his scaphoid, it will literally be impossible to play through it. I had wrist pain for six months, like crippling wrist pain. No way he's playing again this year. This would be like playing through a broken leg.

The treatment for scaphoid fractures depends largely on the severity and shape of the fracture line. Fractures that are not displaced (those where the break line is small) are immobilized. Some physicians prefer to immobilize patients with a long arm cast for six weeks and then shift to a short arm cast until healed. Other physicians advocate a short arm cast for three months followed by the use of a rigid splint for two months. Often, the injured person is able to resume activities as long as they remain immobilized and experience no discomfort during or after activity.
Non-displaced fractures that do not heal after three to four months often require surgical intervention, and the use of other modalities, such as electrical stimulation.
Displaced fractures typically require surgery to repair the fracture. Surgery may require bone grafts, a screw and/or wires for adequate fixation. The patient is then placed in a long cast for six weeks followed by a short arm cast until the fracture is healed.
In the displaced and non-displaced fractures, the patient’s symptoms, as well as follow-up imaging techniques (X-rays, bone scans), are used by the physician to determine the patient’s level of activity.
Once the physician clears the patient, he or she undergoes a supervised rehabilitation program that includes range-of-motion exercises and strengthening exercises of the hand, forearm and elbow. The patient will continue to do these exercises until the strength and motion of the injured arm returns to normal. The patient may continue to use a protective brace during activities that greatly stress the wrist, for three months or more, after initiating rehabilitation.

This is 1977 all over again. Hell, it's worse. That's three season ending injuries to our our three best, most experienced perimeter players now.
Leslie McDonald -- Torn ACL
Dexter Strickland -- Torn ACL
Kendall Marshall -- Broken scaphoid bone of the wrist
I'm with you, Brother DS. Fuck those thug bastards to Hell!

Living in the absolute Mecca of College Basketball (The great city of Cincinnati) most of my life and posting with you yahoos for the past 16 years I know one thing for sure. Solidly.
UNC fans bitch to much. They have a UK complex that they will never get over. They don't like being behind them All-Time. In probably everything. Today they lose a guy, a starter, and their fans curse death upon the other teams plane and already are calling it a season. Woe is me.
Suck it up you little bitches. If this happened at UK the fans would be more concerned with the player who went down and instead of complaining about who plays now, UK fans would pump the new guy up. UK fans get it. Their players do too.

At least everyone but LaGuarde could play--albeit in a diminished capacity--in 1977, TAK. Marshall will be done.
If Purdue wins tonight, State will make the Final Four. Let that sink in for a moment.
I need a drink or something.

Kentucky was great in the 40's and 50's but is no better than UNC since 1960
really if you think Davis got hurt Kentucky fans would not be shitting themselves of course they would,
you really do not know anything about hoop, I finally figured you out
most fans feel for Kendall it is a shitty break,
I think ever teams fans would be upset about an injury like this
