He certainly won't be portrayed negatively where the economy is concerned. Even now the media is digging hard for any news that isn't bad so they can trumpet it as loudly as possible. I had to go back a couple of seasons for that SNL skit. You won't see one like that this season, that's for sure. It just wouldn't be productive.

BTW, in that skit, the Chinese prez says we owe them over $800 billion. It's way over a trillion now -- and still growing (and that's just what we owe China...the total national debt is over $15 trillion now). Once the primaries have sorted themselves out and we're down to Obama or the Republican, we need to pick the guy who is most likely to do something about that. And there's no way anyone can make a rational argument that that guy is Obama.

Well....of course.

At a screening of Asghar Farhadi’s critically lauded “A Separation” at Sony’s screening room, the Iranian director spotted the “Fahrenheit 9/11” filmmaker in the audience. Farhadi quipped, “Michael Moore is the most famous director in Iran,” and said everyone knows his movies because they’re shown on national TV there.

Oprama won't run on the economy, for sure. But he'd rather not have to run from it, either.

Nice story on Six Flags. Keep 'em coming..

I wonder how that number of seasonal jobs at Six Flags compares to the last three years.

problem with many specialists as they stay confined to their own discipline thinking they know the best answer. surgeon will always tell you surgery is the answer--radiologist would tell you radiation etc. if a cardiologist is ordering a battery of tests and procedures and has already stented after angiography I'd expand my horizon --as aa/boj said you need to know much more of the whole picture--specifics on patient and what already has been done but cardiology issues are far from the only reason you get sob

Love it....

Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.), a former Army lieutenant colonel, sends THE WEEKLY STANDARD an email commenting on the Marines' video, and has given us permission to publish it.

“I have sat back and assessed the incident with the video of our Marines urinating on Taliban corpses. I do not recall any self-righteous indignation when our Delta snipers Shugart and Gordon had their bodies dragged through Mogadishu. Neither do I recall media outrage and condemnation of our Blackwater security contractors being killed, their bodies burned, and hung from a bridge in Fallujah.

“All these over-emotional pundits and armchair quarterbacks need to chill. Does anyone remember the two Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division who were beheaded and gutted in Iraq?

“The Marines were wrong. Give them a maximum punishment under field grade level Article 15 (non-judicial punishment), place a General Officer level letter of reprimand in their personnel file, and have them in full dress uniform stand before their Battalion, each personally apologize to God, Country, and Corps videotaped and conclude by singing the full US Marine Corps Hymn without a teleprompter.

“As for everyone else, unless you have been shot at by the Taliban, shut your mouth, war is hell.”

I this ase they did a stress test, then angio and stent on Monday. Back in er wed and another stress test and another angio this time angio looked fine.

My original question is more what are the differences in usefulness between a stress test with two spect scans versus a single cardiac rubidium pet/ct study? What I've read is the latter gives you more detailed images and more useful information versus spect. If that is the case, is there a reason it's not done as often as a first choice other than cost and ins says follow the flow chart?

The Marines pissing on the Taliban corpses is Obama's fault, right? I believe that was the precedent established by the 9:1 media with regard to Abu Graib, right? I haven't seen anyone suggest that Obama has any culpability in this situation. And I'm quite confident that the NY Times won't have this front page above the fold for the next month.

Many insurances will not reimburse for a PET for CP r/o MI or SOB. So, to that clinician and patient, efficacy is moot.

Obama supporters are completely fine with him adding $4 billion a day to the national debt and I'm the one who needs his head examined?
