Yeah, you can see where employment peaked and then dropped like an anvil when oprama took the oath of office in 2007.

I'm not a Catholic, so I'm just guessing here: I think Catholics respect that Romney is unarguably a decent and moral man in his personal life. He seems to be a good husband and father. That carries a lot of weight with them.

They probably also wonder how a guy like Gingrich, with so many ex-wives, was ever received into the Catholic Church in the first place since all potential converts have to have all previous marriages annulled by the Church first. Plus, all Catholics have a family member who married and divorced outside the Church and were required to jump through a lot of ecclesiastical hoops before they could even take communion again. They probably think Newt bribed a bishop somewhere to get in with special VIP treatment.

PT,

If I was Romney (or his people), I would argue that his positions in MA (Helath care, Abortion, etc) were that way because he represented the state of MA which of course leans left. Or more to the point I am fine and dandy with the state of MA or CA or IL or whoever choosing to implement a program like that as long as it doesn't affect the other states (aka TN). AND if the money was coming from the state of MA taxpayers (at least the differential).

Of course maybe its better if he bobs and weaves instead trying to answer. I don't know.

Okay all the Docs here (BOJ, Crash, Owl).

Can you give me a good reason why a patient with has already had a stress test, angiography, and a stent who still appears to have some shortness of breath (this is two days after the stent in place) should have another stress test instead of a Rb-82 PET/CT cardiac study? Other than the sacred scroll flowchart that says I must do this before this even if the other would give me the answer with better clarity in a shorter amount of time?

My understanding is you get better images and data from the PET/CT study. I understand you have CT x-ray dose which you don't with SPECT, but SPECT generally uses Te-99 which has a half life of 6 hours and isn't really gone from the body for 24 hours + where Rb-82 has a half life of 75 seconds and is gone from the body in 10 minutes.

So tell me where I'm wrong and that it isn't just the sacred flow chart and cost?

You need some clinical coorelation for a SOB heart patient. Heart failure/big MI+ (TROP?)? spo2? ABGs? Heart rhythm? H&H? BUN/Creat? (etc, etc).

I would be curious if the stent had occluded or we had a lesion, but a stress won't directly tell you, though.
Once + for CAD and fresh from PCTA, a repeat GXT is usually not the next step.

AA's team wins the NC and now he thinks he's a doctor.

Yep, need more info. Can't make any kind of judgement yet, SOB isn't always cardiac in nature anyway can't forget about that little thing either (kinda like the first thing to do in a code is check your own pulse, can't jump to conclusions).

That's what he and his supporters have been saying for years.

Problem is, he told the voters of MA he was pro-abortion, anti-2A, pro-individual mandate, etc. He and his supporters are basically saying he was lying at the time.

Well, if he was lying to the voters of MA back then, how do we know he's not lying to us now? If he and his mushy moderate RINO record is the best the R's can put up against Obama, then we deserve Obama.

Prof,

I am not a doctor. Neither is crash for that matter. And spacer is a obgyn and BoJ is a general surgeon.

I am, however, regional faculty with the American Heart Association, and I've written four journal articles on the treatment of CAD. When I was in research, it was my thing.

If you think I 'spoke outta school' please feel free to ignore me.

Hold on, I've had a semester of college level biology. Please direct any type of questions like this to me and I will be more than glad to handle.

TIA.
