But especially if you lose...
If it's like anything like last year's he won't get his money until Fall.crashcourse wrote:thanks atm and cletus and hurricane for supplying my drinking money for thursday night and sunday afternoon drunkfests. hoping at least 1 of the two would win

the lawyer just won a shitload in talents contest so you think he would not spend it all on fat chicks and at least send one sawbuck to kansas
Because the ACC needs Notre Dame to bring football in conference. Winning a NC, or having a good showing, will just embolden all the obnoxious papists into thinking they can still stay indepenent.innocentbystander wrote:Why would you guess that?sardis wrote:I'm guessing is that the ACC is hoping for Alabama to blow ND out.
I can't speak for the rest of the ACC but the BC fans/alumni who were REJECTED by Notre Dame (and had to settle for BC as "Backup College") might feel that way, but the percentage of BC students/alumni who even bothered to apply to Notre Dame (let alone get a rejection letter) is smaller and smaller each year. So... I don't know. I'm rooting for Notre Dame.
Please give me payment instructions. The email I used to sign up is no longer active.crashcourse wrote:thanks atm and cletus and hurricane for supplying my drinking money for thursday night and sunday afternoon drunkfests. hoping at least 1 of the two would win

Jimmy Johnson only succeeded because he got 178 picks for trading Herschel Walker. Besides that bumper crop (and the high picks that came from them sucking before his arrival), he never did much. The best NFL coaches come from NFL families. How many college coaches succeeded at the pro level besides Jimmy Johnson, who was basically running a pro team in Miami?
True but the fact that he managed to pull one of the greatest trades in NFL history only further proves that he already had some pro experience before he got to Dallas.Bklyn wrote:Jimmy Johnson only succeeded because he got 178 picks for trading Herschel Walker.
