TSIO might even be competitive.

It will not be competitive... the Vol Hoard will run rough shod over our hapless hopeless under-sized defenders. Our smoke and mirrors offense will barely sniff the field.

That should be "Vol Horde." Sleep it off before you post, GBJ.
The sandbagging should be left to the Grand Master, AA. But nice effort for an amateur.

it is not sandbagging.... it is my attempt at being a simple purveyor of truth..... and I'm not drunk. Yet.

Grats Vols - after the grand thefts of the past 2 years I can't complain too much. Thank God Dodds is a senior, he painfully reminded me a lot of Charley Ward.

Thanks, Ghost, Rat. This win means a lot to us (me). I actually went outside and drove nails about half way through the second quarter and came back in to see the booing as Butch ran out the clock. This win means I won't be riding motorcycles on Saturday as I have the last few CFB football seasons. Last year I missed the amazing comeback losses against UF, UA, OK, and the comeback win against UGA which probably cost Richt his job. It's nice for my team to matter again (at least for now). Someone must have told Dobbs, finally, that the read option is supposed to be an option and not Hurd up the middle every play. If Dobbs doesn't run the ball occasionally we're sucking hind tit (a colloquialism our forum feed store operator knows). Plus It seemed McElwain pulled a Fulmer and tried to sit on a lead. Either that or the defense finally woke up.

I don't think he was sitting on the lead - it was a case of starting every drive around the 10 yard line. In the 1st half they could get the first down running before he opened it up a little. In the 2nd half they couldn't get as much as a yard on the ground.

AA says I ran everybody off:

You are the reason it's gone from a robust membership to cobwebs, the same with the rest of the football threads and puterbac's. You spew your filth as you purport to be a "man of the cloth" - your idiocy, lies, passive-aggression, and hypocrisy drive good people away. You make me nauseous.
I wish nothing but the worst for you. I wish you'd draw a warm bath and find something sharp.

Channeling Larry Munson... I like it... several people have used that classic term to describe this game.
I changed channels when UGA took the lead with 10 seconds left. When I saw the replay of UT's Hail Mary, my first thought was it looked just like the Miracle at Jordan Hare, only without the tipped ball.
That may be the most crushing loss in school history, multiplied by the painful blowout last week. Kirby certainly has his work cut out for him getting ready for USCe.
