L'il Boo is the up standing young black quarterback who was turned on so rapidly by Tennessee in favor of Eric Ainge.

Maybe Kirby Smart will do like Bill Oliver once did and move up to Auburn.

Bill Oliver went down to AU because Stallings was gonna fire him.

I watched one of my favorite CFB games today: Army vs. Navy. That game is always a patriotic event for me.

They must be despondent on the Hudson tonight. I can't imagine losing 10 in a row to your hated rival. We lost 9 in a row to Alabama until "Bo Over the Top" in '82. It's been pretty good ever since. So hang in there, Black Knights.

That game was boring. I hope they both do better in battle or we are all speaking Arabic soon.

Mike Dyer is suspended from the team for the CFA Bowl, and it sounds like he's transferring. I'll miss him. His run late in the BCGCG that put us in winning field goal range was one for the ages.

But RB is probably the deepest position on the team. We still have O-Mack, Grant, Blakely, and - incoming - Williams and Yeldon. Judging from his senior season and Alabama-Mississippi All Star Game performance, Yeldon will probably start sometime next year. He is a beast.

That's a huge loss. He's one of the best RB's in the SEC.

you could hand off to anyone with two legs and still have the advantage.

Prof, don't count on Yeldon too quickly. Saban hasn't let go of him on the recruiting trail, and we have nicer clothing shops in Tuscaloosa.

The Saban had better pull out all the stops soon. TJ enrolls at Auburn January 9.

Heh! Nothing a good suit can't fix.

About all I've seen regarding Dyer's transferring is speculation. Any reason's why?

Nobody really knows. There are two theories:

1. He flunked a drug test.

2. He's homesick for Arkansas.

FWIW, my son saw Dyer in the Student Mental Health office a couple of weeks ago.

I've heard he had bad grades; wasn't going to class - that it wasn't a drug issue.

They're saying his grades were not a problem, but then again, who really knows?

Maybe he stole a laptop and will win a Heisman somewhere else.
