Vote away, but don't think it will impact the economy in the short term...say my peeps in SW/Center City Philadelphia
[R]egardless of who wins, important economic factors will remain facts of life. Millions of American homeowners are "underwater," owing more than their homes are worth and weakening the consumer demand that is key to the economy. Employers, even if they are flush with money, won't hire more workers until they need them -- when demand rises or appears ready to.

actually no I take that back
I'm glad I voted for Obama. I felt he would keep Israel in check and in some respects that has held true.
I won't go against any president that pushes Israel to carry out their own foreign policy in the middle east.
Blacks don't like Jews or Korean grocery store owners.
That said, I don't want a second Obama term.

I don't see how everybody is, like, 70+% for everybody on the board. "You're 87% libertarian but you're also 71% democrat." Either there's not that much difference b/w these guys and their parties, or the poll is fucked up...

Right, there's a difference in simply saying you want to end the war in Agstan and saying you want to end it by carpet nuking Agstan...

I agree, the tax rates we are debating have little impact on the economy just like raising them have little impact on reducing the deficit.
