The tuck rule should not apply when it results in a QB throwing a backward pass. Luck clearly fumbled by any football based interpretation of that play.

The Tuck Rule sucks in all applications.

looks like Minny is going to do all they can to get Peterson that 208 yards

how many games were there per season when Dickerson set it?

16. To date, only OJ Simpson has reached 2000 yards (2003) in 14 games. The closest to him in 14 games I believe was Jim Brown with over 1863 yards. As far as I am concerned, until someone beats 2003 yards in 14 games, that is the record

I expect a oops statement from the league on that one.

Great game though. That dude is MVP, player of the year, everything else. I know Peyton had a great year as well but AP didn't sit out a year recovering.

Peterson didn't have neck surgery either. And losing an entire year in the NFL, where careers aren't that long to begin with, and coming back to lead his team to the #1 spot in the AFC and looking damn good doing it. Maybe he will have another co-MVP like he did with often injured....ERRRRRRR...playing through injuries McNair.

Also, Fuck Jerry Jones if he doesn't blow this coaching staff up, hire a GM, and STFD and let someone build him a team.

peterson was 11 yards short of the goaline that last carry --if he could have broke that last tackle i think he wins the game makes the playoff and breaks the record all in 1 carry

only eCat has prevented me from going over the fiscal cliff

email crashcoursed@yahoo.com so that I too can have a balanced budget and avoid financial uncertainty in the days ahead

Do you mean looking good as in executing his role as a football player or as in hot?

We officially suck. I bet Doreen is double checking his contract for a way out ASAP. What a cluster.

Headline from Yahoo sports:

Host of NFL coaches axed

Why does somebody deserve to be murdered just for showing hospitality to NFL coaches?

Because Obama took away their guns, so they had to use axes. Guns are a much more humane way to dispose of hosts.

State experienced what most teams in that situation experience. I wouldn't let that worry me. However, I would let the appalling lack of returning talent worry me if I was a State fan.
