I'm glad Prof mistook 10ac's intent. How else would we have ever been treated to the vision of Prof engaging in brutal hand-to-hand combat with hardened murderers and rapists?

I invite all of you pukes to preview (and then buy) this Christmas CD collection. Various artists and all sorts of musical genres.
It's mostly Knoxville and Nashville artists (a Dove Award winner too), but it's being received pretty well internationally. All proceeds go to Feeding God's Children/Appalachia. Proud to say this is my oldest son's effort. Producer and performer - now he's a marketer and enjoying doing some media blitzing.

Give it a try...your worn out on Burl Ives and Robert Goulet anyway. December (track 6) is destined to be one of the greatest holiday songs ever imo.

"All proceeds go to Feeding God's Children/Appalachia."

I think 10ac and Hack need to learn to start taking care of their own kids...

Toemeesleather wrote:The U.S. House will likely pass a $180 billion GOP bill tying a payroll tax cut and more jobless benefits to a divisive oil pipeline, Speaker John Boehner said.

"The House will vote on the Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act -- a bill that should pass with bipartisan support," Boehner, R-Ohio, said Monday, one day ahead of the expected vote.

Tee-hee, now the Dims can be against tax cuts....
Man, have House Republicans messed this one up. They messed up so badly that the left has forgotten that Obama caved in on this bill. Even the Wall Street Journal and John McCain has attacked Republicans on the way they've handled this issue.

I personally would bang the drum on tying Obammer to his "shovel ready" rhetoric of the past. Nothing's more "shovel ready" than the Keystone pipeline, and has union backing to boot.

Professor Tiger wrote:I'm just saying the term "working class" is well-established enough in the language that it's in the dictionary. It basically refers to people who don't earn much money. I'm still not sure why the mere mention of "working class" in a post gets puter so upset.
Bullshit. Its political termed used by democrats and libs to imply that people who have been or are successful do not WORK, did not EVER WORK, and obtained what they have in an unfair manner (aka cheated or stole it).

Are union members working class? Cause by the definition posted (low wages) they certainly are not.

I guess PT was handed his degrees and doesn't work at his job.

Tick must have won the lottery and pays his employees a pittance cause he obviously doesn't work either.

The term is used solely as a class warfare tactic.

My definition of working class is if you have a job you are in the damn working class.

The R's are going to get hammered on the PR of this.

They are the party of lower taxes unless the lower taxes mainly benefit the working class. If a tax cut doesn't significantly help the rich, they oppose it. That's certainly the way this looks.

Obama is the luckiest president in history to have such bozo's opposing him. I think Boehner has spent so much time in the tanning bed his brain got fried. This is the kind of sorry spectacle that will get Obama reelected.

Will be tough to do when the President and Senate Republicans and Democrats agreed to expedite the decision on the pipeline and voted for the payroll tax cut while House Republicans are taking a giant hit.

Most voters don't even know there is a difference between the House and the Senate. Boehner needs to be appointed ambassador to one of the -stans.
