Overall excellent effort. ‘Bout sums up the expectations I have for this season.
We’ll be lucky to make it to Birmingham.

Bammer is in town tonight. I suppose I will mosey on over and see how much trouble they are in.
Yes, Bammer.

Thank goodness that first half is over. I just hope Coach is able to prevent complacency from setting in... that team will be all over us in the second half. A 28 point lead is never enough against an NFL caliber opponent like Petrino’s Louisville.......

Watching Bobby Petrino wither and die is always good cinema....

See... I told y’all... now they’ve gotten two penalties in one drive and a touchdown. This NFL caliber team won’t quit. AND we missed an extra point. The damn door has been left open. Goodness just let us out with a win.

Well, we got out of there with a win. Thankfully our coaching staff was able to disguise many of our weaknesses. Hopefully we’ll improve over the coming weeks and be able to salvage a modicum of success.
The positive; a win is a win. I remember years of being “close” and complaining about a win is always better than being screwed over by the refs.
The negatives, and there were a few... too many penalties. Kept one of their TD drives alive with two of them... can’t run the ball, Heaven help us... still no decision at QB; Jalen worked his butt off but can’t separate himself from an unproven.
This may be the year we seem more human. I just hope there is mercy for our under sized lads with so much heart.

That Bama QB, Tagilav.. Teliv... that Bama QB is unbelievable. Delivering a perfect touchdown pass while spinning around... that’s just crazy good.
Alabama is an NFL franchise. Nobody in the NCAA is in their league.

Well, it’s been fun slicing up the first 2 competitors. Arkie St was gritty but well over matched. While Petrino’s Louisville is an NFL caliber team, they met UA on the wrong day.
I just don’t think our smoke and mirrors will work against this Ole Miss team though. They have too much talent and are too well coached. G,BIIT

Agreed. Last week Ole Miss’ offense scored 76 points - 76! That’s more than Bama, more than UGA, more than even Tennessee. The stats don’t lie. The Black Bears are unstoppable this year. And their defense gave Southern Illinois fits all day long. Bama’s QB - Tavil... Tailo... - Bama’s QB is about to face a defense unlike any he has ever seen. The poor youngster will be traumatized, and may never fully recover.

This year I'm pretty sure the black bear got dumped in favor of Tony the landshark. Or so I read somewhere.
"singin' cotton-pickers" was first runner-up.

Just one more reason to hate Mississippi... can’t even stick with tradition.
Hopefully there will be mercy for our undersized lads in Crimson.

Bull shit. We don’t even have one who’s able to separate himself and seize the moment. It’s been smoke and mirrors.
