" I think notredame will have 3/4 of the crowd in the orange bowl"
Really? I think you might be surprised to see how much country comes to town for Alabama for that game...

ND wins by 6. Kelly is that good of a coach. Plus I suspect there will be some sort of turnover or play that will taint the game.

bama was there last year
I read somewhere that 110,000 requests for this game tickets strictly from notredame
this is the first champ game for them in 30 years--those catholic fanatics will get to miami come hell or high water while fro bama even though its for the nat championship I think they are kind of used to these big games and woont spend the extra money the goldendome fans would

Andy Dalton in his second year is only behind Peyton Manning and Dan Marino in stats. A.J. Green is second only to Jerry Rice. Pac Man Jones is 3rd in the league in punt return average, the defense is top 10 and while it may not be worth much our punter is having a pro-bowl year. Green-Ellis is getting better each game as a running back breaking off his two longest runs of the year in the last two games, and Greasham and Hawkins hold their own on offense.
The Bengals have most of the pieces in place to be a really good team for a 2-5 year run coming up.

Except the two biggest pieces: Mike Brown and Marvin Lewis

Alabama travels very well. We out bought Michigan in Dallas this year, out bought Georgia in the dome for the SECCG. We ought bought LSU last year for the BCS title.
Hell, we put 92,000 in the stands for a spring game.
As to what IB posted: I wish that guy posted here. He's wring about most everything, but he says it in an assertive fashion to give the appearance that he has a clue.

NBC has been televising notrdame games to a national audience for the last 15 years plus exclusively
I dont think alabama has that kind of national pull where every one of their games is broadcast nationally every week. kansas city we see maybe 5 bama games. we see every ND game. many markets like that

Notre Dame has a national following everywhere except the south.
The SEC don't cotton to catholic football

Most people watch hoping to see them lose.

NBC only has ND home games. If Notre Dame is on the road its whatever setup that other conference has and not necessarily on TV at all, esp if Notre Dame sucks that year.

Notre dame/usc football game was the most watched saturday football game ever and the most watched regular season game ever not involving 1 vs 2
I don't think the majority of viewers tune in hoping for them to lose
I didn't lie
nbc has the exclusive contract to notredame football

That record should last one week.

I would disagree with that. That was certainly the only reason I was watching it...

there's probably a shytload of people who want to finally see the MNC not go to the SEC
to the point it overrides their natural hate for ND
