You really want to get up on your soapbox about hand-outs vs hand-ups NOW? Can't you just go with the flow for a few more days?

There's a very real chance that you're going to be visited by three spirits, Hack. To save time, tell the first two to get lost and demand that the last one cut to the chase. You'll want to pay close attention..

Bring back workhouses! Ever since the socialists outlawed making young children work 100 hours per week in dangerous factories, our youth have completely lost their work ethic.

Public schooling took the filthy, beggar, working-class children out of the workhouses and gave them a sense that they deserved something simply by existing. Let them learn the lesson that work is its own reward and those without money simply need to work harder like the rest of us

Back in the good old days of the Industrial Revolution, the Oliver Twist's of the world knew their place. Yes, they were lazy and unproductive while working those 100 hour workweeks. But when they were paid a few pences for their toil, at least the urchins were grateful. And when the textile machine they were working with ripped their arms off, they accepted their immediate firing without much of a fuss. They sure didn't ask for handouts like medical care, like those worthless ingrate hourly workers do today.

Too bad we can't bring those good old days back.

Take note, Prof, that's how it's done.

"like the rest of us"? I doubt you have ever raised a blister.

Heh. You have no idea how many blisters I've raised. Digging foxholes does that, especially when you're being shot at. Getting into fights with inmates and getting their blood on your hands is fun too.

But nice try, though.

I work too damn hard to see my money confiscated and given to some little prick so that he can learn anti-American BS spewed by your typical Marxist govt-sponsored instructor.

Oversigning isn't wrong. In fact, it's beneficial for the kids. It's good for em. Builds character and done with their best interests in mind.

Haters gonna hate

Newt announces that he would ignore the Supreme Court if it ever makes a decision he doesn't like and especially if it tried to restrain his Presidency in anyway. With a wave of his hand he will simply make the judgeships "vanish"
