Glad we no longer have to use img2 and the forum auto formats images. Liked the look of the old place better, but whatever.

Tried several times to post pics and twitter videos.... all it gives me is an underlined link when I post .......a little help will be appreciated.

Crotch, it works. Paste your link. Highlight it and press the icon of a painting at the top of "full editor". I have no idea about Twitter videos.

For images you have to use the IMG tags, they dont automatically post

For posting media from other sites, you will want to see if the link you've copied looks like the ones in this list...

For twitter I suggest clicking the little icon that looks like an up arrow coming out of a basket and choosing "copy link to tweet" and it should work.

For youtube, i think it should work if you just copy the link from the browser address bar when you are on a video.

Yeah I had kind of modified the look of the last version quite a bit for looks. This version of the theme is pretty bland, I liked the blues of the old one better. Eventually I'll try to see if I can do some of that stuff with some simple css stylesheet modifications. This place is a lot more functional in terms of web design and adapting to multiple screen sizes though. In addition to shrinking pics to fit the width, it also looks much better on a phone, i think. As the screen gets narrower it modifies elements on the fly. You can try it out by dragging the width of your browser window narrow to small. When the screen gets really narrow like portrait view on a phone, it actually looks a lot more like world crossing did, because it moves the usernames and pic to the top of the post rather than on the left.

What's wrong with this place? We could use a little more color, but so what? My only complaint is a minor aesthetic one, I prefer the user names to be aligned left, but that's a mere quibble...
