Occasionally I'll watch something on ME TV. They have some sitcoms from the 60's/70's I've never heard of on there.

wtf? you don't have cable in the bedroom? is that some type of self-denial as a nod to your childhood?

I'll watch Carol Burnett if I'm flipping around and it's on, mainly just to see Harvey Korman, one of the underrated comedy masters of the last 50 years, IMO. Can't watch him without giggling. Just have the feeling he was like that all the time.

At the end of FDR's first term, unemployment was half of what is was when he started and wages for Americans were up. In his second term , the conservatives (both democrat and republican started to dismantle his programs, and then by his 3rd term with the war on the horizon, FDR didn't even fight them on many of the programs that he felt strongly about.

One move he made in his second term was to push congress for the right to remove any sitting supreme court justice that was past the age of 70 (not sure what age actually) but it was a clear shot at them for continually gutting the teeth from his programs by saying they were unconstitutional. Oddly enough, once the Supreme Court caught wind of his bill and sizing up the popularity of FDR, they suddenly found Social Security and all the supporting income security programs constitutional and FDR let his bill die quietly on the Senate floor. Then over the course of his next 2 terms his replaced 8 of them.

He was just as ballsy about WWII , if not more.

Don't let him fool you. Stevie Wonder can see.

His best performance was on Sesame Street and he had no shits to give for the last 3 mins of that song and just rocked it.

I don't think I've ever seen that. That was awesome.

Tony Bennett called him one of the greatest jazz musicians ever...even moreso because people did not realize he was a jazz musician.

That is the best "funk" song, IMO. If you can't get up, dance, and sing to that, then you be dead.

Norm McDonald has a string of tweets about writing Celebrity Jeopardy with Steve Higgins for SNL40, and what they really wanted to do (which would have brought the house down)...

If you don't follow Norm, you should...

So Norm MacDonald had Eddie Murphy convinced to appear in Celebrity Jeopardy as Bill Cosby and at the last minute, Murphy didn't want to kick Cosby while he was down?
