Yep. A three step drop with an out route would have won them the game. You don't kick on 3rd and 11 unless your LOS is within the 30. The only reason you kick that early is if the clock is at 6 seconds or if your close enough to botch the snap and try the kick again from a 8 or 9 yard additional distance. Neither of these were the case. Coach fucked up.

holy cow -I just finished watching the Real Sports piece on contact hitting in the NCAA.

According to them, the NCAA was formed under Roosevelt to address..get this.. the head injury problem in college football. Now the NFL, high school and little leagues have all enacted limited hit rules, while the NCAA has not. The NCAA is going to get fucked big time in court if they don't address this.

Don't know how much truth there is to this but seems as if Petrino will be named UK's new football coach. There's a guy who owns a huge construction company in KY and donates big bucks to the UKAA that has posted on his facebook page saying Petrino will be named the new coach of the Wildcats.

If Petrino is named coach then our AD has been castrated - that or not a single coach would come to UK that had any resume to show.

That's a huge seismic shift going from them not even returning his calls.

I just read some threads at the UK football board. Its crazy. I'm not any closer to thinking Petrino is coming to UK but I will say there are some honey booboo talking nutjobs out there.
