Drove over an hour for a casino buffet last. The golden nugget advertised Alaskan king crab and new York strip along with the other standard buffet items for $29. The crab was ok...I took a bite of the steak from my wife...it was flank steak and it was horrible.

What I did find surprising is we just walked thru the casino with my o viously under 21 daughter and no one said anything. I thought that was against the law.

First time I have spent any time along the Mississippi casino strip since the Katrina. It's not as white trashy as it used to be. It's still low rent though

In some states it is 18. Most 21. Not supposed to be on the casino floor under age. Common areas are okay, but outside of Vegas, even on the casino floor, unless the kid stops to gamble, they won't say much.

I also don't believe in letting kids onto the gambling floors. For years I paid my people extra so they wouldn't do that kind of business. Somebody comes to them and says, "I have Carolina at 10-1, if you put up three, four thousand dollar investment - we can make fifty thousand if they win." So they can't resist. I want to control it as a business, to keep it respectable. I don't want it near schools - I don't want children on the gambling floor! That's an infamia. In my city, we would keep that kind of traffic in the Kentucky area - the idiots. They're animals anyway, so let them lose their souls...

Cletus, I'm trying to take my dad to the Master's (just one or two days, probably just one, he's got a bad ankle and can't walk that much), my brother got a line on a couple of Berkmans Place passes for Sunday, looks great. Is it worth it or should we just try to get a couple of general admission passes? I've only ever been to a practice round and I enjoyed just stumbling around the course, but this place looks like it might be nice for my dad to sit and relax as needed...

Is that the new VIP area they built recently? I haven't been to Augusta in nearly 20 yrs so, if that's it, I haven't been there. But, odds are, it's great since they don't do much bad there. Given how hilly that place is, getting access to any sort of comfortable area to sit down would be a good idea. Do it.

The guy wants $4K apiece for just Sunday. I know it's Sunday at the Master's, but that seems a bit much...
