from your point of view a 2-0 win over App St that get you a natty is a good win and there's nothing wrong with that.

I don't think wins over App State get you a 'natty' - especially one that ends 2-zip. You get a MNC despite of the games against tomato cans. And I've never thought of wins over 1-AA/FCS as a 'good' win. I understand why they are done, though; however, I would be okay if the NCAA outlawed them.

Here's what I do think: (1) defensive football is at least as exciting as offensive football (2) as an alumnus and a fan of UA, I would be thrilled to see them in the MNC game again. And (3) I can't think of a team I would rather play in that game more than ND.

I hope you kill them deader than Talent.
