a guy who can't lift his arm isn't the 'best QB in the NFL'.....
I'm going to mark this day on my calendar. This is the day that Rickart finally made a comment about Manning that wasn't completely idiotic.

You're right. Manning can't outplay anyone right now. Congratulations on your big day.

Not out of the question, if you consider how the Irsay's turned their back on Baltimore.

Colts are 0-10. Of course with Manning they'd be 8-2 right?

just gotta hope Luck doesn't turn out to be Tim Couch or Joey Harrington...

Rat - They might not be 8-2 but I would say above .500 is pretty accurate. I would say 7-3 or 6-4. Gurandamntee losses- Texans and Saints. Pick one or both from this list - Pittsburgh and or Atlanta.

With Manning I see no way they lose to the Browns, Chefs, Bengals (sorry), Bucs, Tits, and Jags.

We pretty much had Shittsburgh beat with Painter and that is just plain sad to say.

Now this is all speculation because without Manning these teams have game plans 100% different than with him in there.

Say what you want but pretty much same cast of characters as last year except last year had more people on IR that mattered and they still won the damn division and if not for our idiot coach would have beaten the Jets.

BRM. Sorry to disagree but.even with Manning this year the Colts are not a playoff team. 6-10 seems logical. That's why you trade the pick.

I have a issue with that Rat.

With Manning for arguments sake we have Houston sweep us for shits and giggles, and we sweep the Jags and Tits cause they are awful.

4-2. 6 games.

So you are telling me out of the remaining schedule of Browns, Steelers, Bucs, Chefs, Bengals, Saints, Falcons, Panthers, Pats, and Ravens, the Colts couldn't manage 2 more wins???

Fuck man I see at least 5 more wins there easy. I think the losses are Pats, Ravens, and Saints. The Steelers and Falcons are both very winnable games at home.

Maybe I am missing something but this team last year had the most people on IR including starters and still made the playoffs.

That's what happens when you wear blue colored glasses. With or without Peyton they weren't making the playoff. As I said months ago.

Yeah okay.

I will take history of performance with Manning against said teams and schedule over just pulling stuff out of thin air for shits and giggles.

With Manning they make the playoffs this year, plain and simple. They have done it for like what...10+ years...so yeah, I think I will go with that instead of pulling shit out of thin air.

And not once did I say they would be a juggernaut of a football team, I am simply saying win the division and make the playoffs. Just like they did last year when they had a shit load of people on IR.

Indy averages 12 wins a season for over a decade with Peyton as the starting QB. He gets injured and the team can't win a game.

But don't read anything into that.

BTW, when's the last time anyone heard the names Austin Collie, Pierre Garcon or Dallas Clark? Reggie Wayne? I had to look, but they've all been playing this season, apparently. You'd never know it.

Out of curiosity, since I really don't follow pro football very much...What exactly happened to Peyton? I know he's been through a couple of surgeries on his neck but I haven't read up on at all.

I think a disc in his neck pinched down on a nerve for long enough that it damaged a nerve responsible for elevating his arm. he lost the muscle that nerve goes into. tried stem cell, surgery, cortisone etc and still can't lift his arm. probably take a year to get that function back
