From the script of "Fast Times at Ridgemont High":
Mike Damone: First of all Rat, you never let on how much you like a girl. "Oh, Debbie. Hi." Two, you always call the shots. "Kiss me. You won't regret it." Now three, act like wherever you are, that's the place to be. "Isn't this great?" Four, when ordering food, you find out what she wants, then order for the both of you. It's a classy move. "Now, the lady will have the linguini and white clam sauce, and a Coke with no ice." And five, now this is the most important, Rat.
When it comes down to making out, whenever possible, put on side one of Led Zeppelin IV., especially "Kashmir."

said "pure sea salt".
Sea salt has slightly less sodium.

I hope the Varsity never uses sea salt, or any other "healthy" ingredients.

They lost a notch or two in the 90's when they changed to canola oil.

The canola oil doesn't seem to have ruined the onion rings. They still leave a sheen on your chin.

Mr Damone, you forgot number six, much
MUCH more important than number five. When you are going to put your dick in a 15 year old high school freshman, make sure you use a condom, particularly if you are a two-pump-and blow kind of guy. This prevent future events such as her cornering you under the bleachers looking for $75 and a ride to the woman's clinic.

IB must be the parent of a teenage girl. Dimone is a nightmare for such a one.

There was a particularly poignant moment in that movie...a pool, Phoebe Cates, Cars "Moving in Stereo"

One of the best movie scenes of all time - no doubt.

If they filmed that scene today, the director and whole film crew would be arrested.

Poor Judge Reinhold.
I think Phoebe was only 17 years old when she filmed those full frontal nudity scenes in that
Blue Lagoon rip-off movie
Paradise with Willie Ames. I think they had to film it in another country or everyone on the set would have been arrested.

wiki wrote:After ending her modeling career, Cates decided upon acting.[5] Although her father was an actor as well, he wasn't enthusiastic about his daughter becoming an actress.[5] Cates' movie debut was in Paradise (released 1982, filmed March to May 1981).[6] At the age of 17 she played a starring role and did several fully nude scenes in the movie, which had a plot very similar to The Blue Lagoon. Cates later regretted being in the movie, and said: "What I learned was never to do a movie like that again."[5] According to her co-star Willie Aames, "she will have nothing to do with the film. She's really upset about it. She won't do any promotion with me."
She has regrets. I mean it wasn't her Academy Award winning performance like what she had in
Gremlins or
Drop Dead Fred, but still....
