Ideal situation. No place to go but up, Augie. You are Nick Saban at Bama in 2007.

The mental image of Augie in a short skirt and showing cleavage is--well add your own adjective

trust me Sardis, if I had my way I'd have had the leather and lace girls in my parking lot on Tryon 4 days a week. I'm in Monroe now, you dont want to know what I'd have to work with here.

Is anybody interested in contributing to a goat pen blog? I'm looking at folks like Hizzy who likes posting his picks and such, or anybody that wants to talk trash about Duke this year or just in general post ridiculous outlandish trash talk about anybody. I'm contemplating the possibility of adding word press to the site just for another layer of content since we really have no way of recruiting new blood here without the worldcrossing message board networks anymore.

In.

I want to do a section called Fuck The Kardashians...aka....Rich People's Problems.

Then as my wife and I watch reality shows of these type of people, make fun of them by being as brutal and nasty as I can be.

Also, on the "subscribing only to certain threads front" when you are reading a thread at the very bottom is a "Bookmark Topic" link. When you hit it, it adds the thread to a page in your User Control Panel.

http://goatpen.net/ucp.php?i=main&mode=bookmarks

Unfortunately, this puts the list in a tiny window and only shows like 5 at a time, but I think I can use this to create another page where only your bookmarked threads will show up (and then you can just hit "Read New" on those to replace the current View Unread posts page. I started working on this but it was more complicated than it seemed, so I will look into it later on.

Not to hijack the current topic, but...

Does anyone here own a Roku, and if so, what do you think of it?

eCat would like to have a blog on TheGoatPen about 90s pop culture TV and his health scares. He's going to call it "Saved By the Bell's Palsy".

I don't have one , I have the seagate Theater box, which I love.

I'd wait on the Roku for a bit because they are about to ad HBO Go.

I will probably buy one just for that unless something I already own offers it in a software upgrade

Blog is active and should use the same login information as the message boards. Now I just need to work on getting the visuals up to snuff and conforming with the look of the boards. Let me know what you think and if something isnt working right.
