To be fair, most of those are tomato cans. I would suspect that had the 1st been left in, the score would be worse that what it is. To fully counter his claim, you would need box scores and participation charts.

Why? That's when y'all had a real coach whom was fired for no reason. Florida can't help it if they suck at the same time UT does.

Prof, why don't you first define what 'running up the score' is, then maybe you can provide a defense for your stance.
If the a team's ability to score at least 35 points or win by 31 or more points is in itself running up the score, then the list you posed means something. Otherwise it means nothing.
Irony is that I attended most of the games on your list, and the two occasions when SOS did tack on a final TD with starters when he otherwise didn't need to aren't even included on it. Try some substantive research next time.

30 years ago this weekend a good but not great Southern Cal team came to the Swamp to play a good but not great Gator squad coming out of the shadow of the lousy 70's. Everyone was pumped to have this marquee name in the house, a national tv audience (back before everyone was on TV every week) and the added noise generated enclosing of the Swamp. All that energy channeled into Wilber Marshall's demolition of the Trojan offense and a 17-9 win that wasn't as close as it looked.
I can't help but feel like UF is going to be in that SoCal role this weekend at College Station. The defense may keep the score down, but the offense could make the Aggies D look like world beaters.

Florida will win. New coach, freshman QB, first game, too much pressure.

Make it one for the history books. 11 or 12 overtimes.

Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, Brent's voice comes booming in to intro the broadcast. Shouldn't he be on an 8pm game tonight?

Blame NASCAR. There is no 8PM ABC game

Back in the days when Florida still played home-and-homes outside of the state
Also worth noting, Florida's revival was primarily due to Charley Pell's extraordinary cheating abilities, both at Clemson and UF.

Back in the days when the SEC had a 6 game in-conference schedule. Charley indeed primed the pump and paid the price.

Nice offensive series. Just don't get into 3rd and 1 situations.
