And thanks Prof... Both AU and Tennessee had a rough time with injuries this season. AU's D was just on the field too long this time. A 9 minute drive to end the game says it all.

That's pretty much what I predicted:
Professor Tiger wrote:If Pettway and White are healthy, we'll at least keep it respectable. Something like UA 24 AU 17.

If either of them are still hurt, and significantly below 100%, it will not be respectable. Our D will get worn out by our offense's long series of 3 and outs by the fourth quarter. Something like UA 31 AU 3.

Alabama has won 3-straight and 5 of the last 6 Iron Bowls now. I'm very thankful for that. It will take a few more in a row to erase the memory of the "Kick-Sux".

You gotta let us win every once in awhile.

You have. Saban is only 7-3 vs Auburn. That's two too many.

Why? I get no peace or comfort from seeing Alabama lose, particularly to anything in orange.

That's a surprising stat. It doesn't feel like it. It feels like Saban is 9-kick six vs. Auburn.

Our recent record vs UGA is worse. I think we're 1-8 against them, including the Miracle at Jordan Hare. That's very frustrating because they are our second biggest rival, and they aren't nearly as strong a program as Alabama. We couldn't even beat them this year, when they were "hot garbage" as you aptly put it.

The three Auburn wins were:

2007 (Saban's first year - Brandon Cox vs John Parker, 17-10)
2010 (Cam)
2013 (kick-six)

The last two AU wins were kinda miraculous.

The state championship of Kentucky isn't quite on the same level as the SEC championship...

Before I bet the farm, I'd want to get AA's assessment first. He's the resident expert on gambling.
