When Ronald Reagan was President an unemployed man who was fired yesterday could wake up in the morning, get in the car, apply for jobs at company employment offices, and have a job by the end of the day. Those days are gone. We have ghost jobs and 4 interviews over 5 weeks instead of employment offices and managers desperate to get things staffed. Trump is doing all that he can to get them back. Reagan would not be saying today what he said in 1982 regarding trade. The 1986 immigration act was stupidity. The 1990 Immigration reform and NAFTA were after Reagan left office, after labor’s bargaining power went to zero.

Let’s hope Europe can militarize better than they vet their graphic artists…

We knew in 1965 what the problem was with education. Daniel Patrick Moynihan explained exactly why blacks were performing so poorly in schools compared to white students. It all boils down to family life, all of it. The 6.5 hour day, 180 day year school year, only works at educating our children if the child is being raised with dad in the home. It’s that simple.

That simple reality was a non fucking starter for liberals like Jimmy Carter. That is why he had congress create the federal department of education. Their charter was straight forward, get minority students performing as well as white students by throwing money at schools to bribe local school districts into obeying some kind of federal policy. That was 1979 when almost all high school graduates could at least read. Now almost 50 years later, almost 20% of high school graduates are as functionally illiterate as Cardi-B.

Hedge needs to understand that in order to be a member of the democrat party, you have to live a life where your fundamental beliefs are ALL at odds and in conflict with math and reality. That worked so long as you could scare your opponent into submission by threatening to call them racist. It no longer works.
