Here is what I think, you are searching in vain to find anything to dump on this President. And this is what you have found, a brief moment when he makes a mathematical mistake in his speech. Probably because he doesn't give a shit.
Take all the time I need? That was all the time I needed.

I've listened to enough true crime stories to understand why
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
If Europe spent the same percentage of GDP on the military as the US, they wouldn’t need us in NATO. They could bring in Ukraine to the organization and be able to have a well funded war machine that would easily overtake Russia, which btw, is only the 11th largest economy in the world. After all these years of badgering Europeans to up their military spending, it finally may happen with the threat of USA leaving.

Re: Florida State Seminoles
Trump has put them in a tight spot
Either they align with the United States in order to keep the US engaged with NATO - and as a result accept that Ukraine will likely concede land and not join NATO
OR they support Ukraine meaning they take on ownership of the war and fight Putin
OR they do neither and Ukraine in a desperate bid to keep sovereignty, invites China into the mix in exchange for mineral rights and access
but the best part was Vance telling them they didn't accept free speech and then the German representative immediately responds by saying Vance's speech was unacceptable

Re: Florida State Seminoles
I'm dealing with this at work. Gave a presentation last week explaining to employees that more than 70% of them have self identified as remote workers while more than 50% of them live within a commutable distance to an office. The result is our productivity has fallen off a cliff and utilization , targeted in the high 60's is hovering around 45%. The net result is some of them are going to lose their jobs if they don't start treating remote work like an office

Re: Florida State Seminoles
This Ukraine-Russia problem IS actually Europe's problem. Europe should be dealing with it. Instead, Europe is looking at the USA longingly the same way they looked at us (waiting for us to act) back in 1998 with Milosevich and Yugoslavia. Which was retarded. Europe should have handled that, but they didn't. They just... they just didn't.eCat wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2025 10:36 am Trump has put them in a tight spot

This is learned behavior. They learned that the USA will always be there to save them so they don't have to save themselves. They have no real military capacity. They spent all their money not on military spending but on cradle to grave health insurance, free university for their students to learn pointless horseshit (so they could travel and have fun), and 50+ years of sub replacement birthrates. It has turned a very wealthy, Christian continent, with extremely educated people into a gigantic nursing home, museum, and Islamic migrant hellscape.
Poland is the exception. Just Poland. Poland took in ACTUAL WAR REFUGEES when the Ukraine-Russia war broke out. 2,000,000+ women, children, and old people flooded into Poland. These were not working age men. At the moment, they are being pelted with water canons at the Belarus border by the Polish Army. But actual Ukrainian refugees sought refuge in Poland. Now, all the hottest Ukrainian girls still left there have given up on Ukrainian men, have gone full war bride, and are making their way into Russia to fuck Russian millionaire plutocrats and go on modeling junkets on the USA dime vis USAID. Its completely retarded. Trump is trying to fix this by sending Vance to lecture the Germans this week. We'll see what happens next.

Europe is not in a tight spot. They just now have to finally pick up their end of the couch. If they are that concerned about Russia overtaking Europe, they have the resources to easily defeat them. They would rather have the good ol’ USA pay for it. We’ve been enabling them.

I don't think Europe gives a damn about Ukraine or how many Ukrainians live or die. I don't think they care at all.
Europeans care about travel. They care about luxury. They care about medical care and eating out. They care about their 35 hour work week and 6 weeks of annual holiday. They don't care about anything to the East of Poland. And they don't care about Poland all that much. Ukraine? Russia? Belarus? Lithuania? Latvia? All cultured, educated Europeans see in those people are peasants who give them natural gas, oil, resources, and hot women spreading their legs and opening their pussy to western wealth, because all the Ukrainian, Russian, Belarus, Latvians, and Lithuanian men are DEAD from smoking and alcohol psychosis at age 56. So, Europe doesn't care.
Why don't they care? Because they are gone soon and have almost no posterity to leave behind. This is what happens when you have an entire continent of old people who were lucky if they had just two children, lucky if those 2 children gave them 1.5 grand children, and super fortunate if those 1.5 grandchildren will ever even give them one great grandchild before they go be with God full time. If there even IS a God. Because at the moment, He does not appear to be in the lives of many Europeans. They don't yet have all the robot grandchildren that Japan elderly are stuck with but they are heading that way.
Its all luxury, travel, comfort, and hospitality, NOT security, nationalism, and serving your country. They don't give a fuck about their own country, they are citizens of the GLOBE! You think the average European who has only one military age grandson who could be killed in a foreign war gives a damn about sacrificing that one grandson in Ukraine fighting Russia?

I have no idea Europe's combined strength but I don't think they have the resources to easily defeat Russia, maybe now because Russia is depleted from Ukraine but I don't think Europeans are ready for gas rationing in winter eithersardis wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2025 12:40 pm Europe is not in a tight spot. Ukraine has fought Russia to a standstill for three years. Europe has 100 times more (and better) weaponry than Ukraine has had access to. They also have air power. And nukes. Ukraine has exposed Russia as a military sham. Decades of corruption will do that to a military. The only thing Russia has is bodies and that's taken a good hit also. But any war b/w Europe and Russia wouldn't be a ground war anyway.

Republicans and democrats for years told it was going broke. It very well may still but again, why in the world is anyone against a non partisan audit of SSN?

They aren't against the audit. Its just that 40% of this country is pissed off that it is TRUMP that is having Elon do it. They are pissed off that the democrats didn't think of this winning issue first.

I don't think there is a single poster at the Goat Pen that supports sending even one US soldier to help Ukraine, right or wrong.sardis wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 10:04 amThanks for arguing that we are not needed in this fight.hedge wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 7:31 am Ukraine has fought Russia to a standstill for three years. If Europeans don't give a shit if Ukrainians live or die, the same could probably be said for the majority of Americans.

It's very much in our national interest that Putin is defeated and removed (or killed) and Russia brought into Europe as a democratic nation, much like Germany at the end of WWII. If you don't understand that then you don't know an enemy when you see one. It's not a question of need, it's a question of our national interest, and if it's in our national interest we ought to have some skin in the game. But we're not even being asked for skin (men), just money and weapons. Who would've thought Putin (and more than a century of despotic Russia) could and would be defeated without a single US boot on the ground? That's what we were on the verge of achieving. Whoops...

See Saws built into the newly constructed border wall
This way the kids can see each other and play with each other on both sides of the wall. Very nice.

I think we all agree hedge, agree that it is great that Ukraine has been able to hold off the Russians without any European or American boots on the ground. That's great. That said, I think there may be some "contractors" fighting on both sides of the aisle. Word is that the Russians are out of army men so they brought North Koreans over from 11 time zones away to help them. I don't know. Don't care either.hedge wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 10:58 am "Thanks for arguing that we are not needed in this fight."

We keep thinking in terms of patriotism and nationalism here, and we shouldn't. These are not patriotic people, on either side. Its just vast empty land. That's it. These two nations of vast, empty land, the few men that are there, they are drunks. Its a miserable existence over there if you aren't already a wealthy plutocrat exploiting an abandoned, former Soviet government facility that once did something terribly inefficiently that you were able to make efficient and profitable. If you aren't that guy, you have no reason NOT to be drunk. Middle age is 28 for most men over there. So both armies (on both sides) are fighting like shit. The enlisted men are drunk most of the time. Their officer's corps are not too bad, but that is because those are the educated sober men, with something to lose.
All the hottest women are in harems, sharing men who give them money to shop and travel. Those guys aren't fighting. Everything for them is standard operating procedure. Make money. Nothing changes for them except that there are even MORE pussies to plunder what with all the lesser men, dead.

I have a hard time believing those numbers. But if true that is like revolution worthy. I mean what the fuck are we paying taxes for if that is true?
Apparently the reason why the three bone head fights broke out in the first 9 seconds of that hockey game was the USA players were bullshit with the Canucks booing during our national anthem.
